Carbon Funsteps

I'm sure there's been a thread about this somewhere but my ineptitude at searching means that it eludes me.

What do we think of these?

The first couple of levels are almost entirely bingo but level three when you play for the dollar is a bit more cagey and occasionally some poker breaks out. I find it relatively easy to get through the early carnage but third level tends to be the sticking point, probably because i'm a bit pants at poker.
I just managed to nail one though, sucking out brutally to take it down. This time next year we'll be millionaires Rodney!

It still a great opportunity to win free money. I think other site should follow how Carbon give people these chances to win a free dollar by winning 3 steps.

i try to play the 10 chances every day. i usually get through in about 3/4 of the step 1's because they are completely bingo. I have 7 step 2's now when i have ten ill play them, got to step three a few times, its quite difficult i think. A dollar would be nice though, i never depostited there i just use it for funsteps

My dollar boosted my bankroll to a mighty $1.20. I decided to play two 60c SnGs. Played the first last night and was a bit unlucky only to get 3rd but better than nothing. $1.60 now... think i might put a deposit down on a house...

I dabbled in those when they first came out, worked up from level 1 to level 3 i think but the higher up games can take an age to fill and a combination of low boredom threshhold, low bankroll and zero patience means i haven't played them in a while.

Zero to Hero update. Played another 60c SnG last night, placed second, up to $2.90.. Nurse! The smelling salts please! 3 for 3 cashes, i might just play these forever! Mind you i'd have to play a shedload of them to beat minimum wage i think.

It's not a bad promotion, but I think the problem with it is when you reach level 4 or 5. Once you get that high, it takes forever to get a game together and it's almost like dead money.
