Carbon - couple questions re VIP & $100K satty

I've never played much on Carbon but just noticed that last month I actually got over 250pts. in one month which moved me up to 'Earth'. I've discovered that I'm eligible to play in a monthly $750freeroll.

Ok, now for the questions....
I've read on CC about a Freeroll satty to the Sun.$100k, & I believe it's available to players who've earned 100pts. in the month? Is this correct? (I can't find the post on CC & did searh for it for quite awhile). I have ~70pts. so far this month so I'm thinking I should pick up another 30pts. so I can play that freeroll satty (wish I'd known what I was eligible to play in on other months).
Another question - re: player pts. do you get on Carbon
$1 tourney fee = how many pts.?.
On micro cash tables approx. how many hands of 4nl would one need to earn 10pts.?
In total I have ~2,100 pts. on Carbon. What can I use these for? I just noticed that now that I'm 'Earth' (& doubt I ever will be again... as I can't really ever see myself playing much on Carbon) I can trade pts. for cash (I think it works out to ~$12 if I cash my pts. in now) - is this worth it? (or should I do something else with my pts.?).

Answering one of my own questions now, lol. I see that one needs to earn 250pts. in the 'week' to qualify for the "100 seats to the $100K Freeroll"

What do I use my pts. for? (~2,100 pts., 'Earth'). Should I just trade them for $12 (< I think that's what it is worth?).... or something else? I doubt I'll even make the 250pts./mth. again.

Guess I don't have 2,200 pts.? I thought I did.... but it now says '429pts'? Lifetime = 2,200.. but I never used any of them for anything in the past. Guess they just disappear, lol. (f u Carbon, lol). Guess they're worth pretty much nothing.

You can actually use points to buy into tournaments I believe. I know on other Merge skins your able too. Also, if you have RakeBack then you earn points at 6.5 points per $1 in rake because they take the RB % away from the points. IF you do NOT have RakeBack, then you can exchange points straight for cash in their VIP Program. They are definitely far from worthless.

If you have rakeback then you are ineligible for points-to-cash exchanges. However, as an "Earth", you now will receive an additional 5% daily cash rebate and you are eligible to use points to buy into tournaments. 100 points = $1.00.

I used my VIP's to play the sit n goes they have for VIP's.. 100, 250 or 500 VIP's with 6 players that pays top 2 (6 players X 100VIP's = 600) So 1st gave 302 and 2nd 298. Once I got rolling in these and ran my VIP's to 10,000, I cashed them in for $100 cash. So they are far from worthless..
