Is Cake network running right now?

Was messing around on my computer earlier today, running scans, cleaning stuff out, etc. When I go to try to log onto Cake tonight, it won't work for me?
I keep getting a window popping up saying >
Error 116: Security certificate or date settings incorrect

So I rebooted... then I un-installed all my Cake network sites... then re-booted. Then downloaded Cake Poker but have the same thing happening to me again.

Tried Google search to see if I could find a thread anywhere to see if network is down.. but didn't find anything.

My brain starts to work a bit better & I go fire up my partner's computer. I go to open up Cake on there & am getting the same Error message. WTF? (I can run all the other sites right now... just can't get on Cake).

Anyone else?

In some other internet places i read there are a lots of people with lock poker problems now..

I'm getting the same error message, and not able to log on to any of the cake skins. It really sucks trying to play online poker from the US.

Same here, had a Cake poker room opened and it seemed like I had lost my internet connection, but everything else I had opened was OK, so I closed it and tried to open it again but that same message popped up.

But wait .... their status page says everything is fine and dandy ..... http://cakepoker.eu/en/Help/NetworkStatus.aspx ..... so this must be a mass delusion we are all having.

Seems like they let their security cert expire. Some are able to log in by setting their local PC clock back a few hours. All tourneys were cancelled and payouts were credited based on ICM when the tourneys were paused.

Glad it's not my computer.
What a joke. Last time Cake network went down I got fk'd over by Intertops support, as they refused to refund me my buyin for it, telling me it wasn't their policy to refund entries until after they 'officially' cancel the tourney (ridiculous! Game had been fking up for 45mins., 1/2 the table sitting out, etc. etc.).
Told them all I wanted was my measely $11 to cover the buyin. They refused so I told them to fk themselves & that I'd move my cake network play over to Cake poker site. I withdrew all funds from there (but then I cashed in the CC Intertops freeroll & won another priv. mtt on there & actually got to make another withdrawl, lol). Piss poor customer support >> lose a customer because they refused to refund a micro donkament buyin when their site was fk'n up huge!

Hmm... now what? Maybe I'll go babysit the grandaughter for a few hours.

Thanks for the info WV, glad to see we can get status info and an explanation somewhere. We should know better than to expect these sites to keep us well informed on their status or explain things to us, or even keep their security cert.s up to date. But I suppose we should trust them with our $$$ ???

btw.... their status page still states " no known network issues" http://cakepoker.eu/en/Help/NetworkStatus.aspx Gotta love a site that will keep you well informed of what is going on.

No. It's pretty unbelievable.

Im in California and can log into the client no problem. However, I didn't try to load a table or anything, as I am in the middle of waiting for a cashout.

They had fixed the issue by ~10PM last night.
