| Oh hey thank you, I'm a regular on full tilt and I had no idea you could use play money to enter a tournament for real cash. ##whisper## You know... you could just register for tournament after tournament without any of them ever starting... emptry your play money account... reload your 1000 chips... unregister from tournaments...get the money back... rinse-repeat till you got as many play chips as you want.##/end whisper## I know it would take a while but ya could do it. The massive freerolls are full of donks. Good luck to all those who try! |

Second, gathering 500,000chips with 1K per each 5 mins it will take you theoretically 2500 minutes. Good luck on that. |

| Thanks for tips, the DD satellite and the Fergie satellite are good ones. You find these freerolls only via playmoney lobby ! I can recommend the many private freerolls on FT: less people and better chances to cash. I made in three months so far $157.47 (after 336 freerolls LOL). But the best freerolls are here ! |

| the ferguson: extremely hard to finish (even tho it sounds easy). blinds going up every 2min makes it a gamble freeroll play money: i found getting up to around 200k play chips then playing 100k HU sng are the way to go imo, play the steps till step 6 then that equivalents to 100k which u can play the HU sng |

That same night I placed in the 500k freeroll again so I had about $3.50 to work with total. Now I'm up to $10 and I'm just playing SNG for now. I started with Matrix's since you're pretty much guaranteed to get some money back. After I had a few more buy ins at the 1.20 level I just started playing reg SNG. |

| This is a great tip for many new starters... I used the private freerolls quite a lot to build mine at first and within one week i had over $30, these offer some decent payouts sometimes but you have to complete a survey 1st. Also i never knew you could use playmoney to enter real money freerolls + i wasnt aware of the freeroll to the ferguson. You learn something new everyday. |

| There are better ways: - Private freerolls like Cardschat's ones. - Promotional freerolls. If you're trying to start a bankroll from scratch you have to get in the FTPA Sit N' Learn freeroll and participate in the WSOP fantasy game. I owe my bankroll to the latter. |

Pays top 200 = $T Tournament Dollar Freeroll = $T ... pays top 45 Freeroll Champ .. pays top 9 ... first $7.50 Pub Poker ... Australian only I think ... GOOD PAY OUTS There are many more, just surf the categories and you never know what you'll find. Im now going to have a look at the play money scenario ... THANKS for the tips EV1. |

| Well thanks to CC i built 3 BRs, with the freerolls, but the one site i had to do with out, was Stars. I went into a PLO mtt and played, made the money, since then i've built it up. Working for your BR, is the way to go. Great thread LizaMayra. |

| I have been trying this for a while now as all my roll is currently on local sites, but my word, people will call you with anything. The best I have done in the Round 1 Freeroll with 10k players and 250 get tickets is 266. My patience she wears thin... |

However, if you are new to the game, unsure of your skill, or just trying online poker for the first time, ignore this comment and listen to the other posters telling you how to get free money. You will learn a lot along the way, and it will save you a lot of heartache in the long run. I personally freerolled $800.00 before ever risking real money in a buy in game. It took me around 13 months, but my bankrolls have only grown from there. It takes a lot of time, but I take great satisfaction in playing profitable real money games, and never having deposited a cent. Or you could go the Cyborg010 route....... |

| re: Building A Bankroll from $0 on Full Tilt poker There are promotional free bankroll sites that will start you out with $100 each on UB and Absolute and $10 on Bodog. Perhaps there are some for FTP too. To each his own, but playing poker for play money is just silly - it's not real poker unless money is involved. The CC freerolls are a good way to go. |

| Hey there, some more questions! Awesome read, I've been playin a long time on FT and never knew of some of these things! I have recently learned of the CC freerolls (I can't join but I find this fact fantastic ((proves to me the legitimicy((sp?)))of this site)) But what other private free-rolls are there? Are you people talkin about tournies that are started by other players or endorsed by an actual site? Very glad I found this site |

| My BR is now $151 mainly from freerolls, micro sats,1c/2c ring, micro sng. i am trying to improve and learn as much as i can, but having fun at the same time. forget bad beats, keep studying, practise good BR management, have fun. i have just become aware of 'pot equity','hand ranging' and 'fold equity' which i have never incorporated into my game.(playing by 'feel') it is a slow process to become a good poker player it takes time and effort.the more time and effort the better you will become as a player. when i rail the big buyin tourney's,i try to understand the thinking behind the play's. some of them mystify me but sometimes i see otherwise good players making basic mistakes position, stack size, fold equity, pot equity, hand range, player tendencies,3 bets, icm, pot odds, reverse pot odds, implied odds, bluffs, reads, these are a few of the things to think about. (quite a lot actually) what i am trying to say is to take your time, learn as much as you can and have fun. for instance i have yet to do any kind of serious hand analysis i dont use a HUD or tracking software,i dont analyse player stats. there is a lot i'm aware of but have'nt got my head around (yet) i know i still have lots to learn (a lifetime) but it is great fun if you are just depositing and losing then redeposit and lose again you are just gambling, IMO that is NOT playing poker (plenty of articles on BRM) good luck erm this post may be in the wrong place please move if it is Last edited by tcummo : 4th December 2010 at 4:26 PM. |

| 31 cashes so far this year in Cardschat Freerolls. Shooting for $500 on the year.... sitting at $480.76 at the moment, so not too far off the goal. I'd say (if you're taking the SNG route) play the $0.70 SNG Satellite to the BLT > Top3 win $2.20 (Fulltilt actually adds $0.30 to the prizepool, so if you subtract that from the tourney fee 0.30/9, you're paying 0.07 tourney fee (instead of 0.10), which is only 10% {this is a better rate than what you're paying if playing the $2 sng's & twice as good as the $1 sng's where you're paying 0.20 which is 20%}. I'd by far recommend these over playing the $1's. {& pretty soon it looks like I might be playing them regularly!} |

1 cash so far this year in Cardschat Freerolls ..and that's EXACTLY what I've been doing with it! Just remember to unreg from the BLT. Payout in T$, but you can use that to buy in to the next one. Quote:

| i concur. any other freeroll tilts me right away just because i don't have the patience. the round 1/round 2 freerolls are an insane waste of time. better to take that time reading poker books and concentrate on the big three freerolls. |
