BR Progress

Alright, so I told ya'll a while back that I was gonna start an account on Tropical Poker with a zero balance and build it up starting with freerolls.

The freerolls on Tropical have a low payout, so it takes a little longer to build up your BR than I thought, but tonight I finally hit $7.50 in my account and I decided to hit the tables.

Within a half hour, I had turned my $7.50 freeroll earnings into $17.55 playing at the .10/.20 table (the lowest table that they offer).

I know that playing the .10/.20 table is still out of my BR, so i'm gonna go back to playing the freerolls for a little while longer, but I just wanted everyone to know that I am off to a decent start.

p.s. don't let that little success get to your head. Get that bankroll up there like planned before attempting to make thousands at the rings!

it's always best to manage your BR properly to make sure you don't waste your time and go bust

I'd try and see how big you can get it solely through FRs if all they offer for micros is .1/.2

One point to note, though, is that most of the people playing for real money on Jungle will have won their money through freerolls (either recently or in the Win Your Bankroll promotion), so the competition will be uncommonly soft at the moment... I've not had the time to play on there since the freerolls ended, but I had a look at a couple of points. Good luck with the bankroll build-up, though...
