Bovada Closed For Maintanence

Just wanted to let you know that when I tried to login to their site (not their poker platform) that it was down due to maintenance.

It looks like Bovada will have new look. I'm really eager to find out what they changed and what they kept. I thought it already looked pretty slick.

Hope it's not some lie to stall because they're robbing us or something. Black Thursday.

The poker client isn't working, either. It loads fine but you can't sit at any tables --- or I can't, at least. And there are no cash games running.

I agree with this sentiment. Since the update was not announced as far as I know, I don't have a great feeling about this. Also, FWIW, the Bovada FB page says that the site would be up and running by 11 a.m. EST --- which was over three hours ago.

I was up late playing last night, and starting around 1 am they kept giving updates that poker would be down from 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. eastern time for maintenence. I'm in chicago so as planned the site went down at 4...but when i woke up at noon its still down...something doesn't feel quite right about this, but hopefully it'll be back up and running soon

So that explains why there was no cash games on bodog, registered to a few tournies but they didn't happen. I haven't played bodog in a long time, had a few bucks left over from when CC had freerolls there, tought i might be abble to run it up. Hope it gets running today.

hope they add some shootout tourneys to their main scheduled tournaments

The Bovada FB page now says that they ran into some unforeseen issues and that they expect to be back up by 3:30 EST.

I think the old setup was easier to navigate through. I wonder if you can use the old version..

I don't care for the new Sportsbook setup either, but I'm sure we'll get used to the new layout before long.

The poker client is up and has been since yesterday afternoon, but you need to uninstall and re-install to get it to work.

oh, I try to login on the poker client and it just loads. It doesn't say I cant connect nor doesn't anything even pop up. Anybody know what to do for that?

Yes; uninstall and reinstall. It will load fine after that.

I have a brand new computer so just installed it a couple of hours ago. Even so still uninstalled and reinstalled, still not working. I know I had problems the first time installing on my old computer..

I didn't have to uninstall in order for it to work just fine.

I wish, I haven't smoked/vaped in like 2 weeks. My dad found my magic flight and some GSC, and threw it all in the trash.

Yea its been dissapointing to see the new setup. It is much harder to navigate through with more steps involved with unclear loading screens.

For example: When you look at the MLB lines, it will not show all of the lines. You must: zoom out (making everything smaller), then click "View All" again.. to get the full list. Then Zoom back in, to be able to read the lines. (Hope that helps someone)

I did speak with a representative to see if there is an option to view the site in the older version and was informed that it will not be available any longer but they are taking into consideration players viewpoints. So send in your comments and/or concerns regarding their facelift.
