Bonus offer for Canadian Players
I can only assume that this is coming up with the soaring Canadian dollar, in regards to exchange rate with the US Dollar. Last time I checked, it's heading up to around $1.03 USD.
Not sure as to the size of the Canadian players on CardsChat, but just wanted to let you know that I just found a nice offer for players up here. Got a newsletter update from PokerRoom of a special bonus for Canadians only! If you don't have an account there, no worries as you can easily get an account, particularly from CardsChat and then get this bonus as well, since it's for new and existing players. The bonus ranges from 150% to 200%, if you're using the moneybookers e-wallet to handle your transactions. It's definitely an incentive to play, especially if you're going or have gone broke online...or on a very VERY tight budget with limited bankroll like me! (Paying for school and all.) But if you're not going to be using the good exchange rate to play, might as well cross the border and do some shopping! |

re: Bonus offer for Canadian Players poker
Yesterday i got $5 bucks from PokerStars for free. I had no money in the account and had not deposited before.
I don't like their interface at all so i wasn't to excited about my $5 bucks, so i played a random tourney just for fun and lost in the bubble. The rest i gave away at a small stakes table. |

Re: Bonus Offer for Canadian Players
Sorry for not being specific earlier!
It's a deposit bonus. So, after you deposit, you'll be credited with the bonus dollars that won't be released until you play enough hands on PokerRoom's tables in order to get the extra money. Just be mindful that if you do capitalize here, make sure you get some time to set aside and play because your bonus dollars will expire after a set period of time. Good idea to commit some time to playing a lot over the next few months so that you get the full 150% - 200% bonus (whichever one you get on). I remember when I totally forgot that I had bonus dollars to claim and then it was gone because I didn't play for awhile! Admittedly, it was only like $10, but I don't got the extra cash to throw around for playing online...not to mention I'm a micro-limit player too. So that was a sizeable bankroll stake gone! Thanks for the reply...nice to see that there are a bunch of Canucks that are on here! |
