Bodog reduces seats awarded to $100K tourney

I guess the economy affects everyone. Bodog has reduced the ammount of seats they award in their $100K satellites. They have three $7 satellites every week, where they would guarantee to award 10 seats to their Sunday $100K per satellite. I just noticed that they now guarantee only five seats per satellite. Often there was enough interest to award 11 to 13 seats. I hope that remains the case as I have been rather successful in the satties and the resulting tourneys. Although not quite assuccessful as fellow CCer, GoBilliards, who took down 1st place a few weeks ago for a cool $25,000.

Hey that's good news. It is nice to see someone from this forum do that well. This has been my goal since I have been playing online; to win a sat for a big tourney and win it all. Unfortunately, it is still a work in progress.

Boo, thanks for the heads up.

I haven't played too many times, last week I was 1 spot out of the guarenteed seat, soo frustrating!

My wife actually won a seat in this sattelite on her first try, she hasn't tried since. She's probably played like 30 mtt's and sng's total ever. Not sure how she pulled that off.

Will be interesting to see how many entrants tonight.

Good, this will mean less peole playing in these, thus less people qualifying for the 100k and a return to an overlay.

waz666, never thought about it that way. Too bad the buy in is way above my bankroll so will have to continue to try and sattelite.

Yeah waz666, you're right......15% overlay today and it was the 2nd Sunday in the past 2 months that I didn't manage to satellite into. Hopefully I'll be there next week. It's probably my favorite tourney what with the super stacks, 15 minute blinds and the usual overlay, I look forward to it every week.
