Some of the problems with bodog that I see are a lack of scheduled tournaments for lower limit players, slow traffic in the sng games, and very long waiting period to get a check (sometimes up to a month). Some of the good qualities that I see at the same time is that often times there is a huge overlay in the prize pool thanks to the lack of players, and you can accumulate poker points by playing play money and use those for tournaments or convert to cash.

Bodog is OK by me. I am playing in a MTT there right now as I post. :)

As Blabber says, some of their tournies have a nice overlay, which is good for us tourney specialists.

Yes, Bodog overlays = :)

There's also a decently large contingent of poor players who come over to the poker room from Bodog's sportsbook and casino.

I'm not to thrilled with bodog so far. I just set up an account last week and have found their software to be rather poor compared to Fulltilt. Now I will qualify my statements with the fact that I'm a Mac guy, but I did set up a PC for Bodog after trying to use virtual PC on one of my Macs and finding it way to slow. However even on a fairly fast pc with a new installation of XP and updates it seem unresponsive to clicks and several times I've had the auto fold activate as if I hadn't clicked on anything. Also playing a FR yesterday I clicked fold and then changed my mind and clicked it again so I could decide if I was going to or not. Lo and behold I was all in with 68s.

I'd be interested if anyone else is seeing this kind of problem or am open to suggestions to alleviate the situation

TIA

The one thing I have against Bodog is that the client demands too much of my tired old computer! At least compared with a lot of other sites, e.g. Tilt or Stars. I can have 2 or 3 games going, at the same or at different sites.
But one game at Bodog takes all that Ol' Nelly has got and I can't do much of anything else ...

Great site. Heard of payment issues. I use Western Union so deposit/withdraw is not a problem. TONS of guaranteed $$$ MTT's!!!
