I seriously doubt it. Ownership is Canadian and they want no trouble with regulators here.

I hope to hell they accept canucks that site seams to be really taking a shit, As far as gtd tourneys go thats for sure. Single table sit and gos are almost the only tournies worth playing. Need to get as many people there as possible. Course i just joined full tilt a little over a week ago and found what a good site is like. LET CANADA IN

This is NOT the problem, Absolute Poker/UP and Tiger Gaming are Canadian owned. I suspect it's comming soon as when I tried to place a bet on there, a pop up asked me to enter my email and I will be informed when Canadian players wil be allowed. The original problem was ALWAYS with the US Gov going after the original owner, Mr Ayres.

Well, I think it still is a prob for Ayres, even tho he has distanced himself from bodog; we shall see.
As for the others, Joe Norton's ownership is another jurisdictional story altogether, being located in Kahnawake which maintains its own sovereignity (does not recognize authority of federal govt). And since gambling is a provincial matter, and Quebec doesnt want trouble with the Mohawks, Kahnawake remains in legislative limbo.

I can't really say anything yet, but keep your eyes open for new developments and exciting news....but shhhhh!

GUYS, apologies for the late reply on my part...Bodog.ca which is licensed and operated out of Antigua, will open up to Canadian players by Sept 1. yay!!

So who am I anyway? By way of introduction, I have just recently joined BodogBrand.com as the Global Bodog Brand Ambassador and work directly under Calvin Ayre to ensure that the Bodog brand message is consistent throughout each Bodog brand licensee (Bodog.com, bodog.co.uk, bodog88.com and very soon, Bodog.ca). Calvin is no longer an operator- he is now media and licenses out his brand to licensees that fit the Bodog brand mold. I'll be representing Bodog across all forums as BodogBecky and I will be an on-site reporter for CalvinAyre.com, and tabloidish industry "tablog" that will be launched in the fall. Also, I have been in the igaming world for 5 years now, previously working for Casino City and Everest Poker, so although I'm new with BodogBrand.com, I've been around for a while.

As for Bodog Poker specifically, we have some big announcements and changes coming up early September- stay tuned and I'll keep you posted on all!

Lastly, if you experience any trouble with Bodog Poker, please PM me your location, your name, email address and account number so I can speak to the appropriate licensee and get some answers for you.
