Bodog $1500 Freeroll

Finished 55 tonight in this one. A new record for this freeroll. Two nights in a row I have finished in a paying position. ($5.25 I didn't have) A lot of fun for sure.

I found myself reading the hand disection forums during the play. It was inspirational and kept me from doing too many stupid mistakes.

I learned a real good lesson tonight. I think I learned it before, but, it hit home hard. It only takes one badly played hand to erase a whole bunch of well played hands. I will try to be more careful I went from 60,000+ chips with 90 players left to 15,000 chips. Really made my play from that point on tight.

Nice job, my best finish is 25th in that tournament, took me like 5 hours, i was playing until 2 in the morning. Won 9.50. Havent played it in a month or so i might have to try it again, they were always fun. Gl with your 5.25 at bodog. I suggest the 2 dollar beginner tourneys. Just try to place in the first few to try to get your BR up to a large enough amount that you can do other things with it. GL and hope to see you around the tables.

Heck, I hardly play tourneys cause I don't want to invest so much time, takes a lot of discipline.

It is under the Multi Table Tourney's tab, Freerolls and PTS games.
It plays at 9:40 PM. It usually fills within the first hour, sometimes less sometime more. 4000 total players, the first hour is a donkey exhibition at its best, but, settles down after the rebuys and add ons are done at first break.

So it's not really a freeroll since there are rebuys and add ons.

They call it a freeroll... and I guess I'm dumb enough to not know the difference. I have never paid a dime to get into it. Or out of it for that matter. HAHA.

Its called the 1500 guaranteed tournament and its free to get in. It starts at 9:40pm EST and although it costs nothing to get in you can rebuy for 2 dollars i believe. 4000 max and it fills up quickly. Registration starts at 7:40pm EST so if u wanna play sign up fast.

good job, it deffinatly takes a lot of patience to place in that tourney. the best i've ever finished is 26 twice. i havn't played it in quite some time though. i might have to give it another shot. it is quite the donk fest for the hour.

I've never cashed in these freerolls. They are good practice - but the time you would have to put in is rediculous, compared to paying ~$10 and winning 10x.

I play there myself. The problem is there are 4,000 players and the game lasts nearly forever, 3 am. I haven't gotten in the money yet. The best I've done is 290th which isn't easy. No doubt the price is right.
