blocked account because suicide

many ppl think a big site is the best site
well...
i have a really bad experience with pokertars support.never encountered smth like that
they blocked my account because ,annoyed by customer support,i said i go and kill myself.
gee!is it me,or that was really weird?!....u never use this expression whithout really meaning that?
and i still have EARNED fpp points there...i have no idea what to do.pfff
i emailed them 5 times....explaining it might be a cultural difference..and still nothing.they sent me to the pokerstars store to buy smth,lol.but they know i don t have enough points for that...i only can play a few tournaments.what an abuse....
so,i don t know what to say about pokerstars.if u google pokerstars support sucks,u will find 500000 results : )
but my question is: what can i do against them?...i WORKED for those fpp points.any suggestions,ty

I know of another player who was blocked from full tilt for the same reason. He was just trying to make a point of how frustrated he was (and, yes it is a childish thing to do). The sites take anything like that quite serious, so learn from this and try another method of expressing your self. I would keep emailing them, and be polite, explain that you were just venting and frustrated but you understand your method of communication was wrong, and you would like to get this cleared up. You may need to try a lot, but just dont say something like "if we dont get this cleared up I will kill myself...."

I think you need to view this a bit differently. No one is refusing you your rights or freedom. The poker site is refusing to deal for 30 days so as to keep you off their site in case you really are a suicide potential. I believe this is at every site. Many addictive gamblers are in danger of sociopathic behavior (potentially anyway) and I would assume pokerstars is making you wait so that in case you do have a gambling/psychological problem, you have time off the site to get help and assess your situation. If you mention suicide, they will block your account pronto. As I said, I know of this happening to another player, and he had to go through an ordeal before he was allowed to play on the site again. They explained that they take any reference to suicide seriously, and once you open that door, you are subject to their decision. In the TOS they probably mention this in some way or another. Basically you threatened them with suicide, and you just cant do that. Chill, take a month to sharpen up your game, read some books, play other sites (enough of em out there) and understand that your action here was simply off base. No one is denying you anything, but they will be sure that you are not a psycho before they let you back in. Remember this before you send any nasty email about them doing an injustice to you. Remember that you are trying to accompish a goal here, and react accordingly. They have the upper hand, so keep that in mind.

We know ur not gonna kill ur self but to them this is a health & saftey thing for them. Like 'fletchdad' sez: Some people have gambling problems and mayb kill them selfs. The poker site doesnt want the blame for that = bad image.

Looks like ur jus gonna have to wait a few days untill pokerstars gets bk to ya.

If I were u i'd jus send them a e-mail everyday sayin ur sorry and u didnt mean to make such assumptions.

If I cant tell the difference between a whale shark and a turtle, what are the chances that I cant tell a flush from 5 random red or black cards......

Sis lives in Naples Florida. She does the Ft Lauderdale wreck circuit and the Keys pretty regularly. I was kinda surprised that she and her husband - also an active diver - chose me. One condition she laid down, that I dont spend too much time playing poker. She said if she passes up a dive trip to see me, then she wants to see me...lol. Fair enough....

As far as mentioning suicide Stars and any other site will always take it seriously, you need to send them an e-mail explaining that you were not serious about it.

Sometimes we are all guilty of a bit of sarcasm, but dont burn that bridge yet. I have made dickish sarcastic responses, and had a bit of a laff, and there is usually no real serious meanness behind it. It can come across harder than it is meant (I may be taking liberties here, but here I go).

And possessing common genes and sharing a corner of the universe may be the start of something cosmic....... sharing jeans would be more intimate however.....

Just say you tried to commit suicide but failed and you would like to continue playing poker with the hopes you catch some bad beats and go into a deep depression and try the suicide thing again. I think they would assist you with that and reinstate your account
