| Blinds..... Does anyone have the definitive list/explanation of how blinds get posted as people are knocked out from a table?? I seem to remember there ALWAYS must be a big blind, but still not 100% sure of how this has to go, for example: Next dealer just got knocked out, so deal has to move to let's call it Player A, who NEVER posted a BIG BLIND, thus I thought this dealer would have to post big blind and then Player B posts BIG BLIND (thus no small). Now after that hand, deal goes to Player B, if we post SMALL and BIG, then Player C never posts a big blind?! Hope this makes sense and SOMEONE can tell me what has to be done. Thanks. |

| I think I follow what you are asking. There is ALWAYS a small and big blind the only time you should have a hand with more than 1 big blind is when someone just joined a cash game or someone left and came back. Now you should never have to be in the big blind back to back. If I read you scenario correctly you are concerned about someone getting an advantage by not having to post a big blind when a player acting in front of him gets knocked out. This will happen from time to time and is perfectly legit. Better for someone to get a little lucky and miss half a bet than for them to be at a disadvantage by posting too many blinds. The button simply moves to the next eligble player when someone gets knocked its always 1st past the button is small 2nd past is big. Hopefully that helps |
