Best US Freerolls
If your like me and a new player in the USA and want to gain the most experience without risking any $$ then freerolls are the way to go. I have been looking for some list with all the freeroll info but it is hard to find. I found this site and a thread that was pretty much useless so i started this thread.
Here is the easiest way to track freerolls. http://www.beatthefish.com/top-poker...freerolls.html Here are my findings after doing some research. Pitbull has the most freerolls with the least people but they are only for $25. But they start every hour all night and usually only have around 300 people. Im a night owl so i really appreciate that. I like the Bodog $500 freerolls they have every 6 hours or so also. If anyone knows any other sites that offer great freerolls chime in please. |

yeah i went through a phase or railing the hell out of pitbulls fr's....the players there are just god awful. but its really a waste of time. i don't like flash since i'm a unix junkie all ready as it is...and the place is just fishy. i've played a few sng's there where buddies on there were just chip dumping galore. the place is just total chaos. i think to withdraw anything you'll have to deposit at least $25, and play out a butt-ton of comp points. the cash games are really donkish at all levels from watching. the rake is death to all the tourneys and sng's. and the lack of players is pretty lame. and i never appreciated a lot of the snide comments in chat from a lot of the regs. so i don't play so much there. its not a very traditional chipstack/blind type setup either so it isn't very good practice. that's just my opinion though, if you like it that's cool
the bodog freerolls are pretty donkey (well i guess who's aren't so i should just shut up about that) but they payouts are worth making itm if you can hang in there. they'll hook you up with pokerpoints even if you're playing play money, which can get you into pokerpoint freerolls with about 30 or so pokerpoints, which is an added bonus. ultimate bet...lots of ppl in those fr's...the good news is you can play ultra tight for an hour and after that hour, out of the 6000 ppl, there will be 1000 ppl left and you'll either be stacked or in all-in or fold mode...which is the way to go either way. there will be plenty of callers for your good hand to shove or plenty of KO's to make if you're stacked and can play the more marginal hands. i've found this one to be a tough one for me to money. they're sat's to a weekly fr. doyle's room has nightly sat's to the sunday grand. they are not hard to get your ticket. and the sunday grand is not hard to cash. total chaos though, so be prepared for that. the blind structure is pretty wild too so more often than not, be prepared to be in shove mode earlier than you'd expect in most places. i think its from the everleaf network, or something like that, sites like poker4ever. $5 freerolls (4 table max so be fast to reg) every 2 hours, top 5 paid. and then 2/8 am/pm $25 fr's. yeah, that sounds cheap and puny...but these are the easiest freerolls to cash and i would recommend them over pitbull. they also have 11 cent sng's, which is practically a fr of a sng. during the middle of the day, forget about those, but 8-midnight you shouldn't have to wait too long for one to fill up. carbon has $50 frs with fairly week competition, or on the merge network, whoever you're playing against. they also have those fun step sng's which are wild. you can legit win one of those step 1's playing like 5 hands...one double up...then 4 heads up...cause you'll be heads up in like 5 mins if you just fold the rest of the way...incredible and of course full tilt has freerolls as frequent as anywhere else. might wanna try the satellite to the ferguson that starts 11:10pm est...love em and shove em in that thing....speaking of which, the daily dollar freeroll, 300 chips to start. tournament dollar freeroll. and they have lots of $100 fr's through the course of the day...like bodog...hanging in there till cash time is worth it |
