Which tourneys would you recommend for a newbie on a small budget?

US friendly sites only.

Lots of smaller buyin tourneys going on all the time on pokerstars.

Bankroll of $50-$100. Looking for a mix of tourneys from various US sites. Those with a good chance of cashing because not wanting to blow the roll right away.

May I suggest, Full Tilt Poker and some of the $1.10 buy-in 90 person sit-n-gos. These are good solid tourneys, in my opinion and the top 20% or 18 players get paid. There is also a $2.20 toruney which has 180 players and pays the final 18. Most of the 9 person sit-n-go's pay the top three which assures you of getting your buy-in back plus some profit. Try these and good luck.

Bodog, because multi-tablers don't like the site. 4 tables max at once.

I got to agree with bigjoker, bodog is a good site they have beginner tournys 10 player tables top 5 get paid, but I like to play the micro tables at pokerstars, I seem to have the best luck there

I would suggest pokerstars because it has many micro tournaments and sit n goes as well. plus it has double or nothings which are very easy to cash.

If you are closer to the $50 I would suggest the .25 cent Pokerstars 90 player games and the .50 SnGs at Ultimate bet. If you are gonna be closer to the $100 you could play the $1 games suggested earlier in this thread.

I would suggest either Doyles Room or Sportsbookpoker. The site have better cards. You don't suckout as much as on Full tilt and I believe the games are a little softer. Both are Cake network.

the truth is almost all the sites have these small games, but pokerstars have the most, from 2c tournamects, 10c tournaments, 25c, 50c, 1 dollar 45 ppl, 1 dollar 90 ppl, 1 dollar mtt like every hour, 1$ double or nothing, 1$ 9 man sng, plus the beautiful 2nl ring games. good luck and cya there.

Pokerstars is great for small buy-in SnG's. There loads from 9ppl, 45ppl, 90ppl and 180ppl. There pretty decent to play in.
As for PS MTT's the low buy-in's tend to get fields off 4k+ so it's hard to final table them but u never know!!
