Best Looking Site?

I think Full tilt with there flash software is the best looking out there, then second comes pokerstars, and 3rd would be PKR, but in the past, before ftp & ps & pkr, the best looking was true poker!!!

anyone else agree? and if not, what do you think is the best top 3 looking poker sites online today ( or before )

PS: Scorepoker before they switch clients was sexy looking too, now its ugly : (

FTP has my vote, they also have the most user-friendly client out of any poker site.

Even though you dont pay for this poker site, ufc poker looks pretty cool since you can use fighters as your avatar.

I was thinking of starting a Titan account. Is there any restrictions for starting an account and is it hard to make money deposits to start a bank roll?

I like FT. It is easy to find your way the to tourneys and the table look is done well. May be just me though.

I like PokerStars the best because of the userfriendly lobby and the fact that you can always see your tournament position at the table. I probably like FullTilt's table better with the avatars, but don't like the fact that I have to click the tourney info button to open up a new window to see what position I'm in.

I like playing on PokerStars more, but I think FT is more user-friendly as far as finding tournaments and sattys and the such. FT is probably a little more flashy, but the layout at PS doens't bother me as much as it does others. I have heard people say that PS is boring and stuff, but I don't really think it is. My top three, in terms of visuals, would be...

1. FT
2. PS
3. Carbon

Full Tilt is tidy since the latest facelift. If we are talking good looks, though, you`d have to be pretty eccentric to vote for any site other than PKR.

Unless you are an American and have never seen it, of course, in which case you`re excused.

PKR is by far the most attractive looking poker site.. its a shame that you cant multitable there though... 4 tabels isnt quite enough sorry

Just checked out the video intro at the site..

http://www.pkr.com/en/

WOW.

The only issue I see is multitabling, even if you only limited to 4, your PC would start to run slow running a lot of tables with this client.

Umm, Its online poker why do I care which one is prettier or flashier? But I would say Pokerstars, I like simple. Also like the fact it doesn't use many resources. Full Tilt would be 2nd, but can randomly jump to 160+ MBs of ram not even multitabling, not cool. Of course the only other 2 Ive played are Players Only and Bodog.

* I must add that my desktop is plain black no icons, its beautiful.

Mine too, only cause I recently reinstalled windows and am too lazy to enter the CD key.. lolz.

But FTP uses less for me, the graphics are more gritty than PS, plus your constantly loading images off of PS.. (unless you turn that off) On FTP those are icons already saved on your PC.

FTP also uses square tables, easier to manage to me.

PKR by far for me, but I can't play it as it is far too slow, waiting for each hand looks great, but takes an age.

1. PKR
2. FTP
3. TITAN

Yes. That is pretty much it. You have a 3D avatar which sits in a zoomable and rotatable 3D environment. Difficult to describe if you haven`t seen it, but the presentation is so far ahead of any other poker room that the best of the rest look antique by comparison.

I don`t disagree. Appearances are not the most important consideration. However, the topic of this thread is "Best Looking Site" and therefore that is the basis of our discussion.

PKR is the best looking site by FAR. It just doesn't allow US players.

The best looking site that I can play and actually win something is

FULL TILT.

Thanks for the look at PRK, people! Never heard of that, but I can't play it anyway, but it does seem very unique looking.

I'm sort of with the poster who said he uses just plain black screen, etc. Trouble is, when using also black backgrounds and color type on your Windows colors, FTP is the worst. THey don't have their programming set right, and it means in some lines you get black-on-black text! LOL.

That is why I went on to say which one I liked best and why. I had to question the reasoning behind the OP, because if he is looking for a site, being "pretty" should be last of the list of reasons to choose a site.

Don't understand what the windows key has to do with having a blank desktop.

Yes, I turn off player images on PS. I had them on but found myself blocking at least 1 or 2 of them each game, because I thought they may be distracting, so ended up just turning them off completely. But, even with them on Pokerstars never used more RAM then Full Tilt. (Those images are so small unless your on dialup you could never notice a difference)

The reason I like a completely blank desktop is I have fixed so many peoples computers and usually log onto them just to see a desktop covered completely in icons (the majority of which have probably never been used) that icons just annoy me. Plus, I have no need for icons on the desktop and I rarely even use the start menu.

* I am pretty OCD about keeping my computer clean and organized.

I'm from the USA , I played PKR before they kicked out all of us Americans , I'd say that's the only site that impressed me even if it did slow my pc to a snails pace, I'm one of the few who doesn't really care about how the sites graphics look as long as I can see the cards, I don't really care either way but when they kicked me out of PKR I was told that I could still play in the play money games but no longer allowed to play any freerolls or real money games!

If you install windows and don't enter in the CD key, after about 30 days I think it is, certain things get disabled like your desktop background until you enter in that key.

Table-wise, you can modify some tables. That would make Bubbasbestbabe's PokerStars the best.
End of argument.

As for the lobby...
A year ago people were arguing that FullTilt was best, but PokerStar's lobby was so much better at setting filters to narrow down game choices. I think they were just biased in favor of FullTilt.
Since then Full Tilt has done major improvements to their lobby and is superior to PokerStars.

Last thing I need is to be distracted by pretty. Bad enuf when the cocktail waitress with the huge cleavage comes around. So I want my table to disappear. These are the tables I see, at the places I play, and I have striven to make them as generic as possible. I minimize the FT avatars, and see no avatars at Stars or Ultimatebet

Hmm, never installed windows without entering the key during install, unless it was an OEM copy of windows which had the key built in.
