Recently lose a bankroll? Want to start a bankroll with no risk?

Most CC members are aware of what freerolls are but I have not seen a thread that actually ranks the sites. With myself being a "freeroller" I have been trying to find the best freerolls. The two major factors are obviously payout and # of ppl in field. Feel free to add!

*Before I start I just wanna say that while playin these freerolls, most of the time one loses is because of a bad beat. If it happens dont get pissed about it most ppl in freerolls are huge donks

1. full tilt poker
-Obviously first with full tilt they run $150 freerolls every hour, and Round 1 Freerolls that satty to a bigger freeroll on sunday. Also include satty's to daily dollar and tournament dollars

2. Sportsbook
- The freerolls on here have smaller fields than full tilt. And offer $500 freerolls every wednesday

3. Doyles Room
-Surprisingly this is my third choice. Even though these freerolls are not like the ones on other sites, they have 55 dollar bounties tournys with pros being the bounty such as Doyle brunson. They also have $500, $250, and $100 freerolls every couple hours.

Feel free to add/comment so we can get our members as much free $ possible!

Actually, there have probably been about 500 of them. Maybe not that have made an official list that ranks them, but neither does yours. Listing 3 sites and barely giving any reason why they are listed like that doesn't really qualify.

*Before I start I just wanna say that while playin these freerolls, most of the time one loses is because of a bad beat. If it happens dont get pissed about it most ppl in freerolls are huge donks
Actually, most of the time when you lose in a public freeroll, it isn't a bad beat. It's that you probably put all of your money in the pot with top pair and played it like you had the nuts when there were tons of straight and flush draws on the board.

1. Full Tilt Poker
-Obviously first with full tilt they run $150 freerolls every hour, and Round 1 Freerolls that satty to a bigger freeroll on sunday. Also include satty's to daily dollar and tournament dollars

I'm just going to go ahead and say wrong again because all public freerolls suck and are a complete waste of time. You're spending more money on the electricity powering your computer than you could possibly make in the 4-8 hours you're playing these dumb things.

If you want to build your BR, why not try the pokerstars PokerSchool ?
You'll find lessons and then easy tests where you'll win buy in tournament's tickets (several $1+0.10 and $2+0.20, and a PokerSchool $1000 beginners' tournament).
That will help you to built your BR without playing Freerolls :)

A lot of people who play public freerolls or a lot of real poker players? Because I'm almost positive that the majority of the latter would disagree with you.

Lot of real poker players. That's why most "real" (as you call them) poker players don't need to play freerolls bc they have a bankroll or dont wanna deal w bad beats. All i was saying in this thread is to the ppl who do play them, watch out. The reason most people don't play freerolls is because of all the tilt noobs and bad beats. Don't get too excited over this thread though kid.

At the top of the lobby window, see PokerSchool and click, then "launch (web)". You'll need to reg and then you can follow the lessons and answer the tests. Enjoy !

Thanks for the Pokerschool advice!

I regularly play the United Kingdom Full Tilt freeroll but have still yet to cash - the standard of play is much lower, but you have to get lucky. Went all in with QQ and got called by 22, and they hit a third 2 on the river. Not much you can do there :)

As a player only time I play freerolls
  • offered by a forum I am a member of with a small field and donks I know
  • offered as a bonus from a poker site - depositors or VIP etc.
  • deciding if I will be depositing at a new room - see if I like the skin etc
I am never bored enough to play public freerolls on the big sites but might play them on a smaller site if I have other games going and need something else to keep me out of trouble

Trouble? Yea when I am bored I will play hands I shouldn't just to be doing SOMETHING

Freerolls tend to be a bit of a lottery but I have to disagree about FT. Sure they offer every hour but the fields are HUGE.

Id recommend UB or if a non USA player try winner poker - Fields are a lot smaller.

How can you say "obviously" FTP? First prize isn't even a good enough bankroll for the penny stakes.

bodog hands down, they have $500 freerolls.

FT have the regionals everyday. And there are under 2k ppl there in one of those. That is why i think it is the best freeroll site.

i believe i ca help out here, if you really want to be a freeroller maybe you should use more sites than one, maybe you need a schedule like this one:

[broken link~tb]

they have most of the sites and you could probably multitable the crap out of them. haven't tried it because i am too lazy.

No more than 180 and that is usually just at FT because you need to get a ticket to get in there and people register days ahead of time and don't play. Most other rooms have 100 or less.

Full Tilt Poker

In my opinion I think Full Tilt Poker is the best sight for freerolls without a doubt.
