Best of the best poker sites?

Therefore I want to settle to a site, to play and deposit money on a single site ...and I come here and ask you ...what poker sites do you like and why?

My two cents is that I have found Ultimate Bet and Stars to be among my favorites, But I have never really given Full Tilt a go so I cant really comment on them.

If you're in the US, either Full Tilt or Stars because they are the most reliable, and have the best selection of games. If you're outside the US, I'm not entirely sure but I've heard good things about Titan. Comparing bonuses for any relatively reputable site is probably the way to go.

Some smaller sites have gone busto recently so avoid the smaller sites even if the bonuses/rakeback looks really attractive.

re: Best of the best poker sites?

Disclaimer* I read all this on the internet, so it may not be accurate.

I read on another poker forum that Partypoker had the most fish and was the best place to start building a bankroll. I haven't tried it myself, can't afford to deposit at multiple sites. (I play on Pokerstars personally)

I've also read (at 2+2) that low stakes at Full Tilt has like a 10% rake which is insanely high, so if you're starting at the lowest limit cash games then full tilt might be a bad choice.

Please, please, please correct me if I'm wrong so this guy doesn't get any misinformation.

You're right about Full Tilt...

They have Rakeback, but at low stakes you pay to much rake, so that's a bad choise...

I think Party is a good room to start, but the Ipoker netwerk is also good...
Both good action and fish...

But yes, Stars and Ultimatebet are also good, they are all so close together if you don't search for something special...

I would say, check out all this sites (or the possible ones), find out what you prefer in tournaments/action/skin/feeling and than start a bankroll on the one you like the most...

Advice is good, but check out for yourself is better...

I'd recommend Stars.

As far as Ultimate Bet, I'd never recommend a site that's been involved in two scandals in the last few years to anyone.

Pokerstars & Fulltilt.

You hate to learn poker? So you play just for fun? Might I suggest you don't deposit money and play in freerolls only? OR If you deposit money and don't want to learn (I'm assuming you can afford this) then play just micro-stakes.

If playing in low to mid stakes with real money - look me up!

I play mostly on FT and PS and there is not a lot of difference in my opinion. Both are good reliable sites with easy deposit and withdrawal set ups. I also like Carbon but I built my br there off freerolls and have not tried withdrawing.

I really enjoy playing on FTP. They have great free rolls for you to start a BR in and then micro sng's mtts to play in. =)

The free rolls are not as big as the one on Poker Stars.

Pokerstars and Full Tilt are definitely the best poker sites in the web. They are both reliable and their support team is awesome. If you are choosing what poker sites to play, I highly recommend the sites and you will be in the right path. so enjoy the games and see you at the tables.

If it's for freerolls (NLHE), I prefer UltimateBet or FT. If freerolls for 8-game or individuals...stud, Omaha, etc, I like PS. I'm not too sure about playing multi-tables anywhere but PS...for me, I think I'll settle for single table SNG's. Less peeps to wade through!
If you want to improve your game, you will need to study some or at least read the posts here at CC...otherwise, tell me where you're playing & I'd be glad to take your chips!

FT and PS are the most stable, reliable. Ultimatebet has lots of freerolls.

Play freerolls and have fun.

re: Best of the best poker sites?

well for variety of low stakes games i would say full tilt(the freerolls on tilt fill up fast!), freerolls id say ultimate bet since they have them on a more timely pattern, the freerolls on pokerstars are entry type but get you in a freeroll with a decent payout

Try FT

Full tilt is definately a good site, i admit i do complain about the bad beats, but every site has bad beats and you just have to learn to get past them. They also have some good new bonuses when signing up. I believe their is a 100$ for free, then if you deposit you can get some extra too. Check out some sites, they will show you good options and referral codes. GOOD LUCK to you.

I reon Full tilt would be your best option. You should give it a shot.

Dont deposit real money if you havent played much poker before. Stick to the freerolls and maybe even play some play money first. It will make your poker game a lot better and therefore, when u do deposit...youll be fine.

I think your better off on Full tilt as there are a lot less players on fullt ilt than pokerstars.

Thats my advice. Good Luck!

I'll say it again, don't play on FTP for low stakes cash games. The rake is really really high.

I've played on almost every site and Fulltilt is the best overall.
The others just don't come close. Pokerstars is the biggest but the biggest doesn't make you the best.....

Full Tilt is dumb and cannot fit 10 cartoon avatars at 1 table so no DON's
2 Thumbs down for Full Tilt

Has anyone ever considered one of the smaller Networks like Merge?

I know one skin on there with a deposit bonus that equates to 83% while you're releasing it. Good traffic at lower levels and absolutely first class support.

Does anyone have an opinion on Doyle's Room?

I've played the freerolls there, and the graphics and mechanics seem okay.

They do have the odd network problem here and there though, and their "Info" tab never seems to display properly for me.

Anyways, the daily Sunday Grand satellite is really soft and pays 100 spots, so it's easy to qualify for the $1k freeroll. Both the satellite and the $1k FR has around 1000 players, so the payout rates are pretty decent.

I'm not sure about real money on Doyle's Room though.
