Begging Players

Has anyone else noticed the players begging for money at tables. I play at the low limit real money limit holdem 1-on-1 tables at PokerStars. Very often I encounter players that come and fill up the chat screen with begs for money. Does anyone else see these people and get annoyed like I do? Where does anyone else see these types of people?

I can't believe there are players like that. I play at Hollywood Poker and Poker Room and have never come across these people. That must be extremely annoying! I'm sorry that you have to deal with that, have you mentioned anything to Poker Stars?

I always encounter the beggers on pokerstars as well....i smply disable non player chat.

Yes, I also often encounter these types of players on PokerStars. The only thing you can really do is 1) E-mail support and complain & 2) Just turn observer chat off.

UB is notorious for obnoxious chatters.. profanity ALL the time.. etc etc... and while it's somewhat, alas, to be expected (given that you have to complain FOREVER to UB about it to get anything done) when it happens with OBSERVERS it really ticks me off. So far as I know UB has no way to differentiate between player and observer chat and to shut off the one and not the other.

Does anyone know anyone at UB to whom such a suggestion might be directed?

I have not had a problem with people looking for money at the tables. Largely I imagine as I do little ring game play...Spammers at the tables yes, Beggers no.

Just beware the owner of two poker rooms and another forum got scammed by someone professing to be Krazy Kanuck on Ultimate Bet. He was offering TEC's for sale...Same scammer was also operating on Poker Stars. She managed to get his accounts shut down but not before the money had changed hands and she had no TEC's. The real Krazy Kanuck has apparently posted on Rec gambling poker that someone is impersonating him. My friend thought she was dealing with the real Krazy Kanuck who she has sat at many a table with...

UB recently sent out an email advising all that if you wanted to trf TEC's you should do it thru their support.

I haven't noticed it that much online. But when ever I play over at my friend's house the people that get knocked out always beg for money. They always end up getting a dollar or two.

I've encountered the beggers as well. Complain to admin and if enough players do the same, hopefully they'll be banned.

Hi, I have seen begging people alot on UB too. I always assume that they are underage players who cant deposit because even the goofiest (over) 21 year old I know wouldnt do that lol! :P GL

yea i have come across alot of beggars especially at pokerstars they are a complete nuisance and should be banned for such behavior and then lined up for a big swift kick to the groin

same happens at Ultimate Bet, but it has gotten better. I wonder if anyone ever gives them any money?
