Bankroll question

When you guys sit down in ring games, how much of your bankroll do you typically wager?? I've heard some pros say 5%, others say 10%.

I don't follow my BR management rules closely enough, but at a NL ring game, i'd say %5 is your best bet. Safe enough that swings shouldn't affect your BR in a major way, but also big enough to make a decent profit.
As for limit, i'm a newbie, but %10 shouldn't be too big, then again %5 is probably safer there too.
