Bad Luck? Hey... I play a lot of sit and go tournaments and it seems like I take a lot more bad beats then statistically should be happening. I shudder with aces because it usually means the end of my tourny despite the fact I never slow play them. I usually try and remember the times when I give a bad beat so I can compare the frequencies but it never seems to come out even. I was just wondering if everybody feels this way and its just part of the psychology of poker or are there people out there that feel they run luckier then the average person. Thanks for the input. Peace

The players who take more bad beats are the ones who usually have the better hand in showdown situations. Suck it up...all players take bad beats, it is a part of the game. Keep playing good hands...in the long run (over thousands of hands, not just a few sit-n-gos) you WILL profit if you have the odds on your side most of the time.

Poker is very streaky...Track all your tourneys, you'll notice you have ups and downs its not just having the good cards, when youre on fire you tend to read the cards of others. your hunches are more precise...and man when youre down, you could hold aces and lose to yourself in a one player game
