Back on Bodog!

Hey guys. I had a computer failure a couple years ago and totally forgot that Bodog allows U.S. players. I had not played there since the summer of '08 but they still had my $6.70 sitting there... woo hoo.

Frequent Player Points for freerolls, don't forget.

When you are just starting out, make sure you play both $500 freerolls each day for a few extra FPP's.

Pretty much beginner SnG's is like a 90% chance of making money every time, just play tight and solid - on certain nights (like Fri & Sat) you can literally not even play a hand in those and still make the $$$ - lol ....if I ever decide to go back to Bodog I'll probably play those exclusively.

I'm guessing closer to 70%

But yeah, stupid soft... up through $8 at least.

Yea, my bankroll blew up last summer when I started playing the beginners. They get boring though so I would at least double if not quad table them.

Good luck there Joe! I think you'll find that Bodog is also one of the easier sites to withdraw your winnings from. I've had a fair amount of luck playing their ring games as well as the SNGs. I'm sure you will be successful there!

Becky, e-mails and stuff aren't getting anywhere with Bodog. I always get a "This is how it is" response. Just a few suggestions and comments, which will attract more players and at least more profit in Rake$.

Suggestions:

1.) 4 Tables is Not Enough, 8 at the least should be allowed. I know this comes down to current software issues.

2.) The software is laggy at times, even when my internet connection is rock solid. Clicking check, bet, fold multiple times sometimes will not register with the software/server and will result in a time out or auto-fold being turned on.

3.) Scheduled tournaments should automatically pop up when they start.

4.) Exportable Hand Histories. This one should be a dead giveaway. I've spent like $80 on Hold Em Manager and $40 for Idleminers Bodog Hand Grabber so I can track my stats, and it's an expense that should have been included with exportable hand histories. I have to manually enter MTTs results because the hand grabber does not work with MTTs but does work with SnG's for some reason. So hand histories that can be saved on the hard drive would be awesome.

5.) Lobby/Tournament Lobby Make Over, the refresh rate is near criminal. Sometimes it will show full ring tables with 6 out of 9 players and when you join it's full and seems it's been full for awhile. And the players list etc. will not refresh correctly either.

6.) I want to change my avatar...

1.) Your Monthly Reload Bonus is excellent, the Poker Points thing is awesome as that is kind of like a internal rake back incentive.

2.) Glad to see the multitude of SnG's you offer. Maybe have a SnG MTT leaderboard so the 27 to 36 man SnG's fill up a little faster.

3.) Customer Service is always helpful when there is a real issue that needs to be addressed.

4.) I was happy to see the $5NL tables open up as that is a very welcoming stake for new players.

I know this stuff isn't going to change instantly but guarantee it'd be worth the expenses to put that into effect. Anyway, are you guys hiring? I'll move where ever HQ is located. I currently highly despise my dead end Tech Support job.
