Atlantic City
Anyone been to AC to play in daily and weekly tournaments? My wife and I are planning our delayed honeymoon - got married last year Oct. 20th - and want to hit up a casino or two and a few poker tournaments while we're there. I live in Virginia, any suggestions on where to play and where the best profits might be?

I played in 1 poker tournament at The Taj , late night deal but the struture was good and I think the buyin was like $80 and I had a good time.
I think AC is the armpit of the United States. Very drab and run down, very poor city planning, and the quality of the hotel/casinos there was well below what I see in Vegas. |

re: Atlantic City poker
I've played at Taj Mahal, Showboat, and Borgota. As far as softest competition goes, I would have to go with Showboat IMO, which is right off the boardwalk, they have a $50+5 buyin tournament there on weekends, that isn't that tough. Borgota is definately worth checking out though, it's a lot more like a fancy shmancy vegas casino, with hot servers and handblown glass lights. Just real classy IMO. And if you can beat .02/.05nl online you can beat $1/2 live if you decide to play cash games.
