Anyone working their way into the Monster tourneys at Party?

Just curious.

I bought into a $6 entry Limi tourney 132 players, top 3 spots got a pass to the weekly 100k. I came in 1st ($127) and moved on to the weekly. I came in 977 in the weekly ($40) and got an entry to the monthly 1million.

Just waiting for the 24th to come around and see if I can finish in the top 1000 and get an entry into the big monster tourney in april or may.

Monster is the stupidest promo ever, simply because they're raking 50c more on over 75% of their ring tables for it. Therefore, Party can go die somewhere (until their next reload >_>).

The general structure is slightly bizarre. In some of the weeklys 50% of people have advanced to the monthly, making it one of the biggest stalls in history when it comes to the bubble.

Then on other weeklys there is a ridiculous number of entrants because the bad beat jackpot has been hit 8 times.

I just waited until it was a "bad" week for the badbeat chasers and then a few hours before played a couple of sngs.

This compulsary 2000 advancing is just well, bizarre

I'm definitely not arguing the merits of the tournament . I sat down at a 132 person tourney were the majority of the cash was still paid out in order to get in.

The weekly's are definitely soft when you consider how most of the people gained an entry.

I think the monster rake tables are ridiculous, but I dont mind profiting off of others stupidity

I moved on, won a pass to the Finale

Will do, it is 8 months away, I got in with the first qualifying group of 1,000

There are projections that put the finale anywhere from 20 million up to 40+ depending on how the monster grows, so it will be interesting to twiddle my thumbs for most of the year
