Anyone playing on Carbon Poker?

Tired of Full Tilt, tired of all the same poker sites. Decided to try out Carbon and I have to tell you I'm really impressed. Simple and basic design, but Carbon poker really offers a lot for the player.

Here is a great review on it: http://www.cardschat.com/carbon-poker.php

Just throwing it out there to those looking for a new poker site. BTW 300% deposit bonus with CC Code. Not too shabby.

Carbon PokerCarbon Poker operates on the relatively new Merge network. This is a great site for freerolls. Get a bonus of 300% upto $600 using Carbon Poker coupon code CCHAT600.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker is the poker site the pro's play at. US players are welcome - use Full Tilt Poker referral code CARDSCHAT for a $600 bonus.

Also same as pOker.com,Nordica, in fact a whole launndry list of poker sites on that network, all look the same. I have accounts at a couple, haven't played any of them in ages. I never see enough traffic or decent games to keep me interested for long.

I played on FullTilt several months, have played on many sites. Just started on Carbon Poker. Went there due to fishy rep. I'm doing well, but I'm not finding it as maniacally fishy as reported. You can really only go by rumors and reputations so far - it always comes down to reading the table and the current opponents and adjusting. Played a $2 SnG on Carbon and nobody dropped for the first three of four rounds. Tenacious and pretty tight players.

Good freerolls.

Software is OK. A little busy.

Rakeback possible.

Downside is low traffic and limited games. Hard to find a H/L PL Omaha game most of the time.

Carbon poker - MERGE NETWORK

It's a good site. It includes PokerNordica, Walker, Reefer, Wass and of course Carbon Poker on the MERGE network. It's easy to cash out.

There are two things to watch out for - their customer service is uneven, you can get different answers from different reps. When you win points they have to be used, for tournament entry, within 3 days, their use for that purpose expires.

Nobody offers that information. The points are still good for Carbon gear if you're interested. There are a lot of players on Rounders who have a lot of points and many are writing the site to ask for tournaments that allow points buy in.

carbon

signed onto carbon poker through here I think. the key is the 1st two weeks after you deposit you HAVE to be able to play most of the new player freerolls. very low number restricted to those who have just deposited. ya get your bankroll up, and then qualify for the daily and weekly freerolls.

It doesn't SEEM like Carbon is as fishy as it's rumored to be, but I am doing well there. After struggling to stay even on Fulltilt, I'm tearing it up on carbon so far.
I've been rivered there just like everywhere else. Are there still people who believe online poker is rigged?

Common occurence on Fulltilt is big pairs don't get paid. On Carbon, you can usually find a way to draw somebody into the hand. I guess that's what fishy means. But it's subtle.

The freeroll system on Carbon is really clever. Aside from the $50 and beginners' freerolls, they have the daily thousands, Sunday ten grand and monthly 50 grand. It's not too hard to qualify for these with moderate ring play, and the prizes are good and the fields usually not too big. Freerolls on FullTilt usually fill within a few seconds. If you like freerolls, Carbon might be the best site around. And you can win some real bucks by qualifying for the dailies, weeklies and monthlies.

I play on Carbon as BenzieBabe. Say HI.

Merge Gaming Network live traffic report | PokerScout

Does anyone know, is there a time limit that you have to clear the first deposit bonus by, or does it never expire?
