Anyone played at WSOP?

Has anyone here ever played at the WSOP?

But my goal is to play this year.

If i don't an entry i am going to buy me one.

My wife support me there really good and she know that it is one of my Dream.

So , she "ALLOWED" this year to buy me an seat.

But i don't know yet where and when.

I'll try the Quali's online and maybe lucky there

Good luck to you. My wife would let me play as well but I know that my game is nowhere near good enough to have anywhere near a realistic chance of getting in the money.

I hope you have a great tournament. I'm sure if you made it to the final Table, Nick would sponser you to wear a Cardschat t-shirt!

Have you read the book Positively Fifth Street by James McManus? It's a fantastic read about a writer who had played home games for 20+ years that convinces his editor to let him write a story about what it is like to play in the WSOP.

I hope that you have a similar experience to Jim. Make sure that you write and let us know all about your experience.

No , i don't think that my skill is good enough to reach a final table but it will be a experience and my way to see it is that the best way to learn a game is to play it....

Maybe a lot of you guys think now that i am crazy and we are talking of a huge price i will have to pay to enter.....

BUT IT'S MY DREAM and others buy a car or do a lot of trips...

sadly im not old enough to play in the WSOP. It is a definite goal of mine, I may play in a WCOOP event this year but Im not 100% sure of that yet.

i'd highly doubt any one where as been it it and i don't know about u guys but i don't have 10k to throw around....i live in a small town in ns... called sydney(canada not austraulla) and some dude entered a $600 pokerstar quafullary and won a seat... i dont know if its ture but one of my firends said his dad's boss won it and is gona be on the news soon

CARDSCHAT ON TOUR !!!!!!!!

Rumour has it, one lucky person on here may get the chance to play at the WSOP. The details? Well they are top secret at the moment, keep your eyes open (DUH!).

Well, thought I had a good chance to making it through a few qualifiers. I won two progressive tournaments leading to a seat for a WSOP package. There were only 48 people playing in the final tourney. Got nailed on a really bad beat and watched my dream get crushed. The beat was REALLY bad.

I had pocket AA ... the flop came up AK9. Turn card was 5 and the river was a K.

Damn, I was dancing all around the room when I saw that. Full Boat, AAA KK. Naturally, I went all-in. One guy called me and guess what ... he had pocket KK.

My keyboard is still missing a lot of the keys and my mouse is flat as a pancake. LOL

Oh well ..... that's poker.

Gonna give it a few more shots for April.

Wow sweet!!!

It is definatley my dream! I will be there eventually. I have won several online tourneys and placed in the top 5 in real money a couple of times. I just know in my gut that I need alot more experience in real tourneys before I jump in that lion den. Unless someone gave me 10k of course lol! The most I am willing to throw down now is $110.00 max. Maybe in like 2 more years. If anyone from here goes, let us know so we can cheer them on. That would be really cool!
