Anyone else having Poker Stars troubles? It's extremely slow for me right now, logging in and registering for tourneys (I actually missed registration because it took so long) and I'm afraid to try playing there right now. My internet and everything else it working fine.... Just waiting to hear back from PS and figured I'd ask if anyone else was having issues.

Hello, Thank you for contacting PokerStars. PokerStars has recently experienced some connection issues. We are now working on resolving the problem and appreciate your kind patience. The issue should be fixed shortly. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will be considering refunds for materially affected players. "Materially affected" means you missed a considerable number of hands and lost a significant portion of your chip stack due to blinds and antes. If you believe you were materially affected by this issue, please email us with the following subject line: "REFUND: T#_________, $X+Y, User ID" Where "________" is the Tournament ID, "X+Y" is the buy-in of the tournament, and "USERID" is your PokerStars User ID. For example, "REFUND: T#123456780, $20 + 2, KidJoker" For multiple tournament refund requests, please note additional tournaments in the text of your email. For example: T#123456780, $20 + 2 T#123456781, $10 + 1, T#123456782, $50 + 5 etc. If you do not know the Tournament ID, you can find it in the PokerStars software using the playing audit feature. From the PokerStars Lobby screen, select: 'Requests -> Playing History Audit...' Please also be aware that your refund request may take a few days to be processed. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Ok, thanks for the replies...guess they're working on it. Reagrds, Eddie PokerStars Support Team

re: Anyone else having Poker Stars troubles? I read that the site was down (on another forum, & there were many responses from other players experiencing same) No wonder there's soooo many donks in the Fulltilt games I was just in.... it's all making sense now.

I have always found pokerstars a bit slower/laggy then fulltilt but recently they updated their server, maybe you were having these issues prior to the update? haha and yes fulltilt was super busy when pokerstars was down (although both are full of donks imo)

Just because it was slower didn't mean it wasn't working at all. The waiting time was frustating but I had experienced this type of situation on another site previously. If you remain at the tables it is true that such misfunction can work against you as well as for you but you have to keep your patience sky high. In the past a computer restart solved the issue for me but now it is not case there is nothing to do. Anyway I am confident that servers issues will be fixed soon.
