| Anybody playing on 888 Poker? I am looking for a new spot to play at as a Canadian. I got money in FTP but I want to build a new roll somewhere else. I was thinking Merge but they seem to be getting caught up in the drama going on as well. What about 888 Poker? Does anybody play here? They seem to have some decent tourneys, and also a nice starter package for the first depositor. They say no delays right now in payments or anything, I am just trying to find a safe good site. Opinions? |

| I have some cash on there from a CC freeroll that we had there -- it was an amazing $1k prizepool with only like 15 entrants. Unfortunately, it is not a repeating event. I haven't put in much time on the site as I've been busy building my main roll on a different site, but from what I've experienced the low limit NLHE tables are pretty soft... probably softer than FTP. I know PokerOrifice has been doing some messing about on the 2nl tables and he says they are ridiculously soft... I think his winrate is something absurd like 40BB/100 at the moment. Obviously some rungood there, but it doesn't hurt if people are shoving pf with any two sooted. |

| Ya, it's a soft site. Haven't played there in a while but they have a decent tourney schedule and SNGs are really soft too. Haven't played much cash but I hear that's supposed to be really crushable. Think alot of their player pool come from the casino and are purely recreational players messing about. |

I've written a few other posts about the site 888Poker. Maybe try doing a thread search & type it in & see what you come up with. (basically > its geared towards low buyin tournament players > $1-$20 buyins, with a decent number of $10 & $20 mtts with ~200-500 entrants. They also have some decent 'ChallengeSeries' tourneys running each day ($12rebuy - $100freezouts) with guar. of ~$15K-$100K Software's a bit goofy but not terrible at all (I like it more than Carbon). |

| To answer your question, it depends on what you're playing. If it's micro cash then I'd probably go with 888Poker for sure. If it's tournaments, maybe ipoker (Titan) or 888Poker. (there's more tourneys running on 888 I'm pretty sure, but Titan has a few more larger buyin one than 888Poker). If you sign up & deposit on Titan, be sure to use the Cardschat link because you will then be eligible to play in the monthy $1,000 freeroll on there (CC game). |

| I play the short video tables which r way cool, some people are totally transparent readable, most are terrible players. I am over 20/100 BB on the 6 buyins, less on the tens, and lost some on the 20. 6 buyin is pretty soft, but you will get outdonked occasionaly by chasers and maniacs... I stick to one table at a time, they are pretty entertaining.... |

I do like the lobby, maybe its a bit old but its speed is nice. I was playing a league of my country but it has suddenly ended, so i think im not playing 888 any longer :S |
