Anybody play at Cake? What's their lowest level? I got an email from YPC saying I proved I'm eligible because of how I handled my initial BR. Now if I can just get hold of support... Still, if I'm still eligible, I'm hoping cake starts at one cent and two cent, or two cent and four cent at the lowest level. It's just a $50 bonus, but I blew the better part of my first bonus just learning how to clear a bonus. A second chance would be great, and maybe give me a bit of confidence in actually depositing somewhere(I know it sounds weird but I would like to be able to clear a matching bonus before depositing anywhere).

re: Anybody play at Cake? poker some fair warning about cake. expect some of The loosest and donkiest players you have ever seen. aside from that, you will have to draw your own conclusions, because i already have mine, and dont wanna prejudice yours. best of luck.

Well I just signed up for Cake and requested my bankroll. The lowest stakes sound just about perfect for a limited br. Loose and inexperienced players sound great for clearing a bonus quickly. The goal is to clear the bonus without losing money. That's pretty realistic as long as I play within my br. The bigger goal, and I have to try the site before knowing how attainable it is, well that's to clear the bonus while making money. Realistically I can muster an hour or two at a time without needing a break. I need to go over bonus details again to see how long it should take to clear.

if you decide at some point to play at a higher level, it doesnt have to be huge, but say 50/1.00 or so, you can have a chance of randomly collecting a gold card. basically, for every $100 in rake generated at the table, one gold will card will "drop" at the end of the hand and be awarded randomly to a player. these can be used for daily gold card lotteries which you willl see when you first log on, and also for special tourneys which require gold card(s) entry. best of luck to you on your venture.

Are the play money tables an indication? At Full Tilt, even play money players use some measure of logic and reason but... At Cake it's insane. I just waited patiently after realizing that these people can't fold paint or any two cards that just might make a flush! Turned the initial 1k of play money into over 17k in short order. It's nuts!

re: Anybody play at Cake? poker yes. thats what i wanted to wait to comment on a bit and let you see for yourself. imo, it has to do with the fact that redstar poker is on the same network and as you might guess by the name, caters to players from russia, although anyone can join. this does not totally explain things, but it certainly is a good(bad?) contributor to the situation.
