| Hi I started on there, and freerolled my way into the money games. Bugsys biggest problem is the lack of traffic. It's ok as an occasional site if you like tournaments (still 10,000 starting chips on a lot of tournaments, I think). Not enough traffic on the cash games. You a mac user? - that's the usual reason someone considers Bugsys. |

| I think it can be a good site for some people.....I always think there is a place for the smaller site that outweighs the advantages of the Big Sites You can gain confidence and profit from scoring a little bit easier in smaller field MTTs and softer ring games. You can make friends easier by seeing the same faces everyday. Anyway..if this helps..excerts from my blog concerning Bugsys (a site I recommend obv) This is a newer room that offers great play if you like a close knit poker playing community and favor Tournaments. The Tournament Structure is excellent as everyone starts with 10K in chips (most tournys). The room is the home of PokerPages PokerSchoolOnline. So it is a good place to wait for these fresh students to bring their game to the real money tables. Support is superb as they offer a live chat system. Security is especially tight as they are proud of their efforts to root out collusion. The site is MAC compatible. Good Luck |

| Used to play there a lot, never had any problems with them at all. Bassicaly it is three sites, Bugsy's is cash,Pokerpages free and Poker School for a monthly fee to play and get some lessons. It was fairly easy to win points playing poker on pokerpages then use them to get into cash freeroll satelites that let you play for real money stakes at Bugsy's. Met a lot of nice people there too... Customer servce was always fairly fast, tables about medium softness. US freindly too. Here's a link to them http://www.cardschat.com/us-poker-sites.php |

| re: Any Thoughts on Bugsys Club poker Bugsys Club is ok is you are not trying to cheat, collude, dump chips, etc. They are very tough on wrongdoers. But I know a lot who play there with out many real problems. They also have been having some decent promotions lately...but it is a very small site (Software owned by Poker Pages) |

| bugsysclub Here r some details on this site that u might not know. They had a 2 million $ tourney that they ran satelites on & had 3 tourneys for the people to go to the final table.I had won 1 of the satelites. Then an email comes that its all canceled.Does this sound like a site that might have some financial troubles ?They say in their forum that they dont use props, this is a barefaced lie.Over half the players showing on the 20000 monthly league r props. The props have to play a certain amt. of hands to keep their prop status. They use the props to cheat their regular players out of their position on this promotion.I complained about the tourney, thats when i started having trouble out of this site.Brian, the cardroom manager, is a thief, liar & a yellowed bellied coward.Brian if u read this we can meet in person,u have my address ,phone# & email.Just tell me when & where & i promise ill be there. If any1 goes to this site after reading this,u deserve what u get. |

| I can't find anything about Bugsy's Club canceling any tournament that big, you would think it would be on some kind of poker sites. Do you have any kind of proof of that? |

BUT--They did not cancel until (Im pretty sure) all the participants (or most of them) had qualified for the trip and the Tourny. They reached substantial cash settlements with all of the finalists ($80K comes to mind but that figure could be wrong)--but whatever the figure, my understanding from the community that was in the know, was that the players were happy with the outcome. Many players were unhappy with the cancelation, and they received so much grief in the Forum, they closed the Forum Down. While they may have Props (I dont know--but most 2nd Tier sites do) it is a pretty small site, so you are gonna see the same people time and again and they generally are quite a friendly lot. I play there and I dont have a problem..they aint going broke for sure from my understanding from sources that know these things. Enough for me to keep them as an affiliate and recommend it to people who like small, cozy friendly games (but where u can win money) Last edited by WEC : 28th March 2008 at 12:13 PM. |

Whatever problem you did have....Im gonna give you advice. You wont get much sympathy (or belief) for your supposed problems when you come off like a 12 year old kid who skipped writing class or the ability to coherently discuss in detail what problems you had. If you think it is a sham site, your best bet is to go over to CasinoMeister and register a complaint there. In many cases, they also have registered poker reps from the sites that are available to mediate disputes. So you might want to dust yourself off..learn how to type properly...and go to that site and work out your differences |

You could get in the qualifiers for Free or at a reduced price....and they were not getting enough paid entries total to offset enough of the promotion But it was basically Bugsys Money |

| I think it's extremely unprofessional to cancel something like that when large numbers of people have paid to participate, and have gone through various stages of it. It may not actually be illegal, but it certainly sounds disreputable... obviously I don't know the full story, though, only what I've read here. |
