Any one doing the PPA on stars? Poker Players Alliance - PokerStars Tournament If this link works it is the info. It is supposed to help in the fight for online poker for U.S. citizens. If the link does not work you can copy and paste in the browser for the info. I think it sound good, a little leery of them submitting my info but it's for a good cause.

| re: Any one doing the PPA on stars? poker I posted a thread about it and am registered for 21:20--And I've been a member for quite some time and if we want to stop this illeagal legislation the US gov't wants to pass to prevent us, the US players, from playing online poker then I suggest ALL US online poker players GET INVOLVED! | I played that freeroll a while back, twice actually. I'm not a paying member in the PPA, though they still try to change that, I receive emails from them that keep me up to date with the politics, and prompt me to make my voice heard when needed, it's a good thing really. |

re: Any one doing the PPA on stars? poker I plan on hopping in there tonight for one of the freerolls. They've got some good money in it and it's a good cause. I'd probably be willing to sign up for a lot worse things for a $3,000 freeroll

Just a friendly reminder, less than 20 minutes to the start of the final PPA event tonight. Looks like there's just over 4900 people registered for the $3000 freeroll - gets the winner $376.50, paying out all the way down to 783rd place for $1.20.

I think the 21:20 will be the least crowded one, since it's sandwiched between 2 90-minute intervals. How often do they do these? Never noticed. I signed their petition once, so guess I am a member (??). I don't pay them anything. Weird, they DID send me a voters registration form snail mail a few weeks ago, not mentioning what issues I should be looking for on the ballots or how they 'wished' I'd vote, not even a link. Guess it might vary from state to state?
