I've got a few FTP's and i'm trying to decide whether to save them or spend them on tournies.

Been getting a few more thru the Antonius freerolls so i've got some options now.

I'm split between playing for satellite tokens or playing a satellite to a satellite to a real game.

I'm just wondering what the typical play in these games is like before i commit 20 or more FTP's to a match. Like the 20 FTP match to the sunday brawl for example...are they similar to how the antonius round 1's go with it being a donk fest for 5 minutes and then real games? Would appreciate hearing from people with any experience in satellite-satellite-real game or token tournaments.

I've never had much experience playing in the small low buy-in FTP tourneys. Usually they are like playing in freerolls.

I think the single table satellites may be the way to go.

yeah, the 600 and 1800 FTP sit'n'goes are an easy way to turn a few full tilt points into a $26 token. The play isn't terrible, just a little bit worse than a normal 6-max SNG.

I used mine on a 300FTP Sit-N-Go with 9 people...winner take all. I ended up getting 3rd so it was kinda a waste but I like those tourneys and I had fun so I recommend those.

I played in the 50ftp to the ftops. Its a good way to turn 50 into 2700 with a first place win. plus, its only out of 54 people.

Am I to assume full tilt is like pokerstars? You get tickets and points to "earn" your way up to some cash? I like both sites but I can't figure how the system works

The 50 point tournaments are not that hard and there are only 54 people in the tournament. I played in two of them today and came in 1st and 2nd.

I already have a Full Tilt account I signed up for a long time ago. is there a way I can get "rakeback" on Full Tilt without uninstalling the software and signing up all over again with a new account?

I usually win on those single table FTP tourneys for 2500 or 3500 Full Tilt Points, then unregister the tourney and go back to single table tourneys. I'm up to close to 50,000 points, but I don't have any plans for them.

If your not going to buy and things from the Full Tilt Shop, they're great for those promotional things they run. Like Antonius, Poker after Dark, or FTOP entries.

I would recommend the 275 ftp single table sng satellite into the daily double. Its winner take all ($12) and you can use that money in any other tournament or other sngs, and the only draw back for me at least is that it is a turbo. The 300 ftp single table sng satellite into the 2500 ftp tournament is also a good idea since its a normal non-turbo game, however I always end up getting second in those.

I just stack them up, maybe one day I'll use them for some goodies or a Tourney. I'm not really bothered.

Holy Dave...50,000 FTPs?

I just won another antonius freeroll...another 100 ftp in the bank...so so close too..on the final table there were 4 of us left...i had AK and was all in pre-flop...blinds were high enough they would have busted me out the next hand anyway. On the flop...I made my kings..but buddy next to me had 9/10 with 9/10 on the board...fortunately my ace paired too otherwise it would have been game over.

On a funnier note..I had a guy begging me for the CC password there and offering to trade me a railbirds one (already a member there, lol). I told him no and said i was reporting him to CC and RB...he then colluded openly with another person at the table to bust me out...which he succeeded in doing by a fluke...so then i reported him to fulltilt as well for collusion so hopefully he'll get banned for good. After all, if he's colluding in a freeroll i have no doubt he does it in cash games.
