Not a Fan of AmericasCardroom - How about you?

Hey guys. recently downloaded acr, and to be honest i really cant stand it. though i didn't like carbon much, it was a lot more fluid as well as carbon had much better traffic. It seems on acr i could only fid maybe 3-5 .5 .10 games going on at once. curious to hear if anyone else is not a big fan of the site. if the traffic was better i can see it being a decent site. might be heading back to bovada for a little but not happy that they dont have rakeback.

I have a lot of friends that love the site, I don't get it. Traffic and some variation, software, Carbon has all of it going for them. I am an Omaha HL fan and there is none on ACR. I guess if you are a promotiion driven low dollar MTT holdem player it has something to offer but i don't see anything else. Better things are coming as far as options..... one more year.

traffic has been low for sometime. Hope it improves soon.

I'm experimenting with ACR currently, but still favorite is Carbon. For me honestly I don't like the HUD of ACR lol. I know that is something I can get used to pretty quick, but I also would agree that traffic seems to be better at Carbon.

Hey, you can say hi B.. I won't rat you out. You and I seem to be the only ones that are seeing things without ACR blinders on.. I hope to keep seeing your posts.

I like the software, but it is quite slow there

yeah acr sux ass compared to carbon and bovada.
heres what i dont like about acr/bcp
there slow ass start up when logging in
when clicking on tourney or any table it takes a while to load,on mtt,stt it actually opens a second windows pita
when regging in or trying to see the tourney lobby it takes a while to open that as well. acr/bcp is just slow

ok now for games it has no comparison to carbon or bovada igts gtds are low and bi's are high, oh and every mtt has re-entry(sucks that carbon has it as well)

only positive thing I can think of is that they have p2p player to player transfer,which is the reason it has people there.

i agree black stack, very slow. what exactly is p2p? and i like their rakeback and their straddle option, thats about it. and the fact that america is in their name

I personally like ACR/BCP. My HUD works there and the tables are not anno. Hopefully CC can get a support agent in here to help with some feedback. Things that could be tweaked. MTT selections and structures and traffic. Other than that I enjoy playing there. I do believe with the 1 million tourney and the CAGE tourney promotion coming up there should be more of an influx of players at the site (HOPEFULLY) I play micros there and never have a problem with finding games, just wish there was more traffic. The p2p option is great too. I think if people get the word out and ACR/BCP gets more involved in the forums it could really be something great for american's.

for traffic, Yes carbon is better.
but think ACR has world player pool, ACR will be better later.

p2p=player to player transfer,which means you can send money to any player in acr or bcp depending on which site you're on.

Sadly if acr doesn't get its 1mil gtd covered it will make acr the next lock

Good question, I have no clue. I had an account there as well, so i'm curious. Would just love for ACR to to become more user friendly and then hopefully more traffic as well. Then perhaps I think about playing there more often and maybe even making it my go-to site. But for now, I stick with Carbon. Love it. Only wish they still had VIP points since I never took advantage of them when they did (mine all went to waste when I took a few month-year hiatus).

Does anyone know how to get my money at ACR out of my wallet and in to my poker balance . It was in my poker balances and i could play mtt "s and cash games,now its stuck in my wallet and i cant play,it sfreeroll money but dont see why that should matter

Log out and log back in. The $ automatically goes into your wallet if you leave the site up and running for awhile without playing.

Ok never mind i figured it out .You have to log out and then log back in.But thats kinda of a problem because if you log out and you are signed up for tourneys it un regs you. But i got it. Thanks cards chat for the best poker forum anywhere !! o so i just seen dealieos post and it says same thing i said thanks man support finally got back to me , yea i leave all my sites running too long because my laptop sucks

ACR is in Spanish? where is the download link?

i love acr however the 10$ freerolls are weak.. fight for hours of crazy play, bingos and maintain to the final table just for a chance to win 2$.. come on acr im sure u can bump it up a notch...
