Alot of quads at Bodog...

I was just noticing a trend where i see more quads at bodog than i have seen anywhere else... i'm not saying its rigged... i've only really played there the last few days and have seen them at least 4 other times. This time just caught my eye cause it was the 3's both times at a 2.20 begginer sit n go within 4 hands of eachother... i know this isn't normal...

what i'm really looking for is a "don't worry everything is gonna be alright."

I just remember being on pokerstars and almost never seeing them

might not be related but on day two of playing bodog i got my first straight flush using both pocket cards...

Again this isn't scientific at all i'm just wondering if this is so uncommon or if anyone else has experienced similar frequency of such powerful hands...

I have been dealing two two/three table tournaments every week for the last eight weeks, including the final table. I have almost always dealt quads every week-- consider that I probably get out 35/hour, for about five hours = 175/night. Guess live poker is rigged, just like bodog, huh?

ok, here you go: everything is going to be alright: no site has a random number generator totally crazier than any others'.

I deal live games with a couple of guys who, without fail, will provide bad beats on the river when someone is all in

I consider myself a much more friendly and considerate dealer. I jam people on the turn instead

he said he wasn't saying it was rigged ,just strange.

AG , I didn't know you were a dealer ,thats so cool , is that a part time thing or is gambling legal in NY ? OK I got one for you . have you ever dealt out jj's qq's kk's aa's in the same hand ?

not onto the rigged thing but do say some weird stuff happens at bodog , and probably live too . I always felt the RNG couldn't be close to random live play , but I guess it is. I hate that, lol.

I know, but the undertone of "rigged" is there....

I have my poker dealing certification from a NYS sanctioned school, which means it has to be accepted in any state that recognizes NY degrees (all of them, including NV and NJ). There is an Indian casino in Niagara Falls w a poker room, and I would love to get a job there.

No.

Sorry, but online really isn't any weirder than live...

Thats funny, I play pokerstars all the time and I remember one tourney I was in, there were quads on 4 different tables within the first hour.

I'm no expert, but in today's news...

Bodog Poker's Random Number Generator gets UK Certification | Poker News

Its been about a week since I've seen quads on Bodog, and it's the only place I play.

Although yesterday in a 5+50 SNG I got AA, next hand AA, next hand AK suited, knocking out one person each time. Fun.

this is totally rigged.... i play professionally at a casion and might not catch qauds for about 2-3 months.... you guys need to open you eyes and actually see the odds of catching quads.... look it up on the net the odds of catching qauds... you know now many 1-2-3 outers fall on the net its not funny.... AA vs KK COME ON you supose to win 90 percent of the time.... on the net you winning like 50-50 if you want real statiscs

You also have to remember that online they probably deal 80K+ hands a day (wild guess of 100/hr 35 tables tournie & non). A casino may deal 1200(?) hands a day. Using those figures it would take a casino 67 days to equal 1 day on line. So, you may see 4 in the 400 hands you see in 4 hours (1/3 a casnio's entire day), but someone else may not see one in a week, which would be maybe 2800 hands (100/hr, 4hrs, 7days). many MANY more hands are dealt on line. You will see some crazy stuff, but if a casino could deal 1.5 hands per minute you'd see more crazy stuff live as well.

I recently moved to Poker Stars from Bodog because I was tired of the sick suck-outs and quad/straight flush's that seem to happen more often than they should. Granted everyone has heard this before and nothing can really be proved.

However, after describing all the legitimate bad beats I had at Bodog over the past month (such as losing with KK ten times in a row to dominated hands, I've kept track) to my friend who only plays on pokerstars, she said that kind of stuff seemingly happens a lot less.

I realize that bad beats is a part of poker, and this is only anecdotal, but from the players that I know who are on Bodog, these kinds of experiences are typical. Whether its the donkey players at low limits (micro-1/2) who just get lucky as hell or the RNG, I do know that I'm liking Poker Stars a lot more since the past couple days. Not to mention PS has a much better payout system.

Quads everywhere

I've seen quads 4 times just tonight, 2 in the space of an hour in a cash game at Titan, one on Stars and one on Bodog. Unfortunately I ran into two of em

I see a lot of people saying about seeing more of this or that on FTP, Bodog, Stars. Personally I think its nonsense. It's the game....

The one quirky thing that I have seen time and again at Bodog is hitting a set on the turn. It has happened enough for me to notice ...
