account now visa debit card

Has anyone tried using account now visa debit card at pokerstars? Just wondering if its worth the time getting one.

Where do you live, if it is in the US I doubt it will work, but you never know...

i live in the US. Had a problem with echecks and just dont want to wait 10 days. Would try western credit union but scares me sending money to someone I dont know, and if there was a problem id be scared i wouldnt get my money back.

My buddy did the western union route and actually sent it to the wrong name. Full Tilt apparently changes the name to send money to periodically, and he did it one day after the name changed. He went back to the western union place and had them change it to the correct name and everything went through fine. I believe the money was in his account then in about an hour.

It is the same place you are echecking, if you know them well enough to echeck, you know them well enough to send a bank check or money order.
Lots of ppl have done it with no problem, I have not, but I do know ppl who have.

If my PS account is new, is that ok to do this?

Best thing to do is just email dad@pokerstars.com they will give you the most up to date info. there was a prepaid visa working recently, but best to ask them and be sure....they typcially respond within a half hour or so. good luck!
