Poker - Absolute Poker is the WORST!

Absolute Poker is the WORST!

I've played Paradise Poker, Pacific Poker, Bodog, Poker.com and Absolute ... I cashed out of Absolute in less than a week. Their graphics were unnecessarily confusing, their software ran slow, within several days of signing up I was unable to login and instructed to contact customer support but was not given any contact information and was unable to access customer support because I couldn't login, when I did manage to contact customer support the first time I was put on hold for over 20 minutes!, and when I finally was able to speak with support it was extremely difficult to get them to cut me a check (which took WEEKS ... longer than it's ever taken me to get a check from any other site). The signup bonus is a JOKE! ... it will take forever for the average player to secure the promised bonus under their terms. I'm a decent player ... meaning a make money but not a lot. This is not sour grapes because I lost (in the several days I played I profited +30%); this is a clear warning to STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! There are many other good sites that will treat you well.

Absolute PokerAbsolute Poker offers online poker games to US players with a $500 sign up bonus.

Carbon PokerCarbon Poker operates on the relatively new Merge network. This is a great site for freerolls. Get a bonus of 300% upto $600 using Carbon Poker coupon code CCHAT600.

I play a lot at Absolute and haven`t experienced any problems.

Not wishing to be rude, but it makes little sense to criticise the graphics. They are customisable. If you don`t like them, change them. There are lots of alternate skins available and, if you still don`t like any of those, it`s not hard to make your own if you are reasonably PC-savvy. For example, I play on a desert island :

although i haven't played there too much, since i play primarily on Full Tilt Poker, Absolute seems decent. I've never played for real money on it however since my entire BR is on FTP. But I've tried it out, and would say its one of the better sites out there.

Obviously you haven't explored the site. There are lots of different skins availiable. Here's 3 that I use. And I can't believe that they have a Thundercat skin. That is so cool.

I only signed up today to register for the forum challenge, but i ran my $20 deposit up to $68 in about 30 mins on 1/2 limit Omaha. EVERY hand i hit was being called down, usually by 2 or 3 people. I've seen much worse interfaces, i thought it was very clear. Did get lots of lag though.

I recently removed Absolute Poker from my computer. Software sucks, connection issues regularly. Id sigh up for a tourny or SNG, sit and watch it start and not seat me. Finally, after shutting down and restarting, re-logging on, it would take me to my seat, w/ chips gone and all.

I found the sign up bonus to be a joke too. I have been having a problem accessing their tournament games and have been in contact with support. To make a long story short, they will contact me next week and I will let them access my computer remotely. I call this great customer service.
