Absolute Poker

Does anyone else play for 5 hours a night at Absolute Poker? I feel like I am on there everyday n all nite n its starting to take over my life

Absolute PokerAbsolute Poker offers online poker games to US players with a $500 sign up bonus.

Pacific PokerPacific Poker is the poker room for 888.com casino and is still a favourite, especially amongst new players. They recently updated their software with a sleek and smooth new look which is much better to play.

Haha, I don't play poker often because I can only use the computers at my Unviersity but I play about 5 hours when I do. The thing with absolute though you could be playing one freeroll which could take the whole 5 hours.

I'm sure your not the only one in this boat.

I used to play the freerolls there all the time. It takes a looong time to get to the final group. And what do you get? Not much for all the time. Not bad for getting tourney experience, but the payoff is so low.

They should cut down the number of players per freeroll tournament. They currrently have 2000 players per tournament. If they cut it to at least 1000, it would probably be 2-3 hours. With the number of freerolls they have there, I don't see how it would be a problem. While we are on the subject, does anybody play the "Bobblehead Freeroll"? I don't.

if absolute lowered their seats to 1250 or 1000 the freerolls would not last as long as they have been. i have sent an email with that suggestion to them, but so far not a word on that but they did spread the 50 dollars over two tables finally.

I play Absolute Poker all the time for the freerolls and it does frustrate me the # of players allowed in each tourney. I regularly make it to the top 150 or so but then I get too aggressive which is probably due to getting bored after 2-3 hrs of playing straight for a bobblehead doll or $50 prize pool....what other sites does everyone recommend in terms of good payouts and frequent freerolls??

Absolute seems to run more freerolls that any of the other sites. They normally have 1-2 per HOUR! The downside is that they can take FOREVER because they let 2000 people in. In my experience, the field is cut in half in about 20-30 minutes. The number of players they have might make the tourneys a little longer, but they have them so frequently that people go all-in without a second thought because they know they can jump on the next bandwagon in a few minutes.
