I have this happen to me before and it was because of the internet connection, it's like sluggish and with some delays, and one of those delays may have been what you experienced if for example the other players checked on both the flop and the turn.

This reminds me of a hand awhile back. I had AA and the flop came AAA. The best part was I was against 4 others with quads. Unfortunately they made me give the money back when they found out I had quints and I just happened to be dealing that hand. They had no proof that I cheated, jerks.

It is AMAZING how one is castigated for telling the truth and also for adding to the post count by simply replying to all who comment about my post.

FINALLY, SOMEONE THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ALSO!! Thank you, I do not know much about how sluggish/delays can effect how the cards are dispalyed during play, but that must be why this happened to me, and YOU ALSO. Thanks again for posting this.

Don't you just hate it when you know something and someone else tells you that you are wrong? My sow does this all the time. If she didn't turn out to be correct 90% of the time I would get mad.

Are you agreeing that this ^^ is what happened to you? because before you said that you bet the flop, turn and river with all 5 cards showing. Thats a bit different.

my thoughts exactly dafrench , I'll say it again BS . it's redonkulas . and he will not explain it in detail . (can't)

can you imagine in a real game you have AK and the board hits KKA , you can't get even donks to call a bet much less three people calling down to river. then add everyone knew their entire hand from the flop. ROFLMAO

can't believe this posts is still going but I see an under 100 newbie posted after more than a month but op jumped back in defending his post , so thought I would too.

All I know is that I DID bet as stated. You seem to be able to figure it all out. I can't. Have a great Christmas, DLMoose.

one time on pokerstars, ze dealer was dealing and he accidentally flips one of the big blinds card over for all to see, then asked big blind if he wanted to keep the card. big blind said yes. you guessed it, big blind had ace of spades.

ace hits ze flop, wham-o, i fold, cause you know i ain't no donkey

a similar thing happened to me, this one time i was playing on pokerstars and the dealer suddenly turned into a badger stole one of my chips and ran away, i chased it for a while and got the chip back. I then went back to the table and my entire stack was gone but i still had 1 chip so i sat down, but looked up to see a table full of dogs smoking cigars. I played on thinknig easy money folding a few hands pre flop then went all in with a,k but no community cards were dealt, it turned out the dogs were playing 5 card draw, in rage i picked up five cards and placed them in the middled of table. I then took a picture and showed it to dlmoose and said, look a 5 card flop. That is how this thread came about im sure of it

Old thread but whatever ^^

One time I had pocket 2s vs AA. Flop brought all 10x 2s in the deck and I won and because I bet $30 it counted it for 10 flops and I made $600!

well if he only has one chip he really doesn't need a chair, cause he'd be all in and we all know you are suppose to stand up when your all in

This one peaked my interest so I called a friend at the university. (A grad student in computer engineering) He tells me that this is not only possible but as with any complex electronic system, glitches are to be expected. I have trouble at microgaming sites often being dealt 2 cards in stud games. These things are rare but Im sure do happen.
On a side note, the hand history wouldnt do a bit of good. If the system went ahead and accepted bets in all the rounds, the hand history would show a normally dealt hand. (wouldnt it?)

You, and your (possibly imaginary) grad student friend are wrong. Do you have any experience with computer science whatsoever. I'm not a grad student, but I'm a computer science major. How would it work if whenever you wrote the "hello world" program (a beginner program written usually as a first program in a new language by anyone) once in a while said "die and go to hell"? Just a glitch? Computers and software don't have variations. Now perhaps the conditions were all right for that to happen, maybe there's a bug in the code such that if the hole cards are aligned a certain way it deals 5 cards on the flop, but that would be a bug, not a glitch. Their code has been double, triple, quadrouple, probably at least a hundred times checked for bugs. A bug before releasing software like that would result in disaster for their company (think absolute times a million). If this really happened, stop playing, or choose a different site. But forgive me and the rest of us if we don't believe that the computer "decided" to deal a 5-card flop with absolutely no proof.
