2nd Final Table
Well, the other week i signed up at collegepokerlife.com so I could play in a 200 dollar freeroll at poker.com for college students. In the first 2 tournaments i played, I came in 7th and 4th out of around a 280 person field. I have no idea if I am just really lucky to do that, or I am better than I think, because I am absolutely awful at ring games in my microlimits, but when it comes to freerolls and large multi table tourneys, I usually do pretty good. Lots of times I finish the money or bubble out really close in Bodog freerolls with 3500 person or 1200 person fields. I don't know if the play is just so bad in freerolls that I can do well or if I am just better at MTT. Can anyone think of a reason that I would do well in these freeroll MTTs but not as good at SnG and ring games? I think I am a little more patient in these tourneys than I normally am.

I think you might have just answered you own question. Because of your added paitence, you get the feel for the other players and how the cards are falling. |
