$25 VIP Reward Bonus at Pokerstars - Question

Is this worth 2500 FPPs or could/should I spend these FPPs more wisely at the tables for buy ins to satellites and things like that?

Cash game I play PLO8 - 01/02 and 02/05 hoping to move up to 05/10 soon. For LO8 I play 05/10 and 10/20 SnGs and MTTs I play up to $5.

As far as level achieved I have spread out my play so much in the past that I never get passed the first level however I am going to be playing at PS exclusively from now on so I hope to be getting silver at least.

My goal for next year at my current play level is to make 10 VPPs a day so I think I will obtain enough FPPs to be able to buy the $50 card (which is a better value at 4500 FPPs) for sure. Then don't expire as far as i know.

So do you think buying one of these is this best option then? I was just wondering if using the FPPs to play was better?

i think there are some satellites you can play (they used to have like 250 FPP or something to win an $11 ticket, insanely easy to cash), don't know the state of those things atm, been ages since i've played them

It is definitely not worth it. You can buy pokerstars clothing for way less. About half the price for some of the stuff. They got t-shirts starting at 625 points (not available in canada which sucks for me). But even then they got another t-shirt for 900 points, and hoodie for 1150 I think. I think you are just best to buy merchandise or play some VIP satelites or tourneys if you have a silverstar plus account. I would get clothing.

what about a sunday quarter million ticket for 700 fpps?

25/2500 = $.01/fpp for bonus

11/700 = $.0157/fpp for ticket

6 max - 280 FPPS top 2 get ticket 3rd place gets 280 FPPS back

you only start with 500 chips btw...but still super soft

Thanks I just won one of them and I didnt have a bankroll. I unregistered now I got $11 tournament money.

it really depends. If you have $500+ in your account then no way. But is you have nothing then hell yeah it's worth it. personally i'd try to rack up a few more then play the turbo million on sunday. 3000FPP. easy to make the money which first payout is $70 ish.

Thanks for the replies. If anyone else has any other suggestions that would be great. For now I think will hold onto them. Maybe wait till I have 4500. Then see where my BR is and see if having the $50 cash would be good. So far that and the saty idea sounds like the way to go.
