$2 free from Pokerstars

I just looked at my pokerstars account.pokerstars gave me $2.i have never deposited any cash or played anything on PS.

I went to my mail and they said that as long as i play 1 hand in any cash game i can keep the $2 and all the winnings if id do not play any cash games they will remove the $2 after 10 days.

Yeah they gave me $5 ages ago. It is kinda nice but really they just want you to play and pay rake, whether you deposit or not. They try and get you hooked and it worked for meas i'm a depositor now

The reason I started playing on PokerStars (I used to just do Full Tilt play money games) was because my friend got $5 from them, and I wanted to try to get that $5 too.

I never got it, but eventually deposited anyway.

GLad you posted this. Never heard of Stars doing this type thing at all. Way back, Partypoker used to give $20, but the requirement to play on it was a bit more, but I don't remember exactly.

I think it's a nice thing to get people to try. But the poster here is right, they better be aware not to go overboard and get too "hooked" if one is suseptible to such a weakness.

i havent gotten anything from pokerstars like this...but pokerstars is still cool. i heard theres no rakeback on pokerstars so this would be a good idea.

wow - i have played there 7 yrs - they never gave me any money i didn't win. I feel left out, lol. I have made dep there in the past, but not for several years. Well - wish u luck with your start up money! The .25 sit n go would be good for u to try & increase it; they have it in both 45 & 90 players.

The only free money I get from sites is after 4-5 hours of grinding in a freeroll.

Thats how I got into online poker ages ago, I watched rounders and got into holdem and they used to have this poker show on Vancouver B.C radio and they were talking about pokerstars. I signed up and was playing free money, one day I opened up my account and go $5. That hooked me right there. I ended up losing that five after a while but it got me to deposit.

I also received the $2 deposit about a month ago. Has actually been the most enjoyable Poker experience to build the bankroll from scratch. I think I am 34c off my major milestone - $100!

i was also given some freemoney from pokerstars too in january i was given 20$ from fulltilt but i didnt relise and it ran out damn
