.10 Tourney Full Tilt Problem Does anyone else have a technical problem playing in the .10 tourney? When I try to play in the .10 cent tourney, it alllllways freezes up all the time. Its so annoying that i dont think i can play it again... And its not like my computer or connection because its only the .10 tourney that freezes like that... Although I tried to watch the ftops main event and the same thing happened... Anyone know what this is about?

i know exactly what you're talking about. its the FTP game server that lags/freezes you up when you try to join (and/or intermittently while you're playing) very large-field MT tourneys...nothing to do on your end. hopefully one day FTP will curtail spending on salaries on a myriad of phoney 'pros' and upgrades its game server banks.

I had AK tried to bet and it just wouldnt do it. Then it timed me out and before I knew it the hand was over with AK coming up on the flop and hte hand being won by pocket 8s.. It think its because theres so many playing.. |

thats seems to happen to me more on bodog than tilt but yes even yesterday it did it. and another thing about the .10 FR, what's with that payout? are you kidding me? 3,347 people and it pays 1-153? wtf? that's like a 5% payout structure. Im done with the .10 rebuy. wait!...I like that tourney.....It's a good tourney......FOR ME TO POOP ON!

software / hardware problem I don't have any problem playing or watching this tournaments... sounds like a software issue, or a hardware issue... such as your processing power, or RAM capabilities... recommendation: try and download a newer version of the software and see if this helps... or try not to run too many applications while your playing poker... Good Luck at the Tables...

No full tilt has had problems recently. A few weeks ago it was offline for most of the day. Haven't had any issues with them since though. Pokerstars had a few issues some months ago as well.

re: .10 Tourney Full Tilt Problem poker I believe all the big poker sites have 2 to 3 servers feeding different level tables. 1- For play money 2- For small buyins with no disconnect protect. 3- For large buyins with disconnect protect. 2-3 maybe on same server depending on amount of registered players. I play on 4 sites at once and have had a connection problem when in a freeroll on one site and a buyin on another site was fine.

To be honest it sounds like a computer or internet problem rather than the poker client itself. Ive never had that problem unless I have utorrent running at the same time. Yoy should check and see what processes your cpu is running since that is the most likely culprit......

I have played many large freerolls on FullTilt, from home and at work (Boston) and have never had this problem. Both sites have Broadband connections. I wonder if this problem is limited to DSL/Dialup connections, or possibly international users?

My work requires I travel to Africa a lot. I have played in all the different freerolls and small buy in tournaments with thousands of people in them. Never had a problem like you are describing. Dank Hugh, I agree with you it could be dial up junk.

It freezes my computer too...It started with the late register thing... I think like it's such a big tourney, and since after the beggining more people join, it lags... I don't know if if i had a faster computer it would help ok. But after the late register thing stops (when it reaches level 2), then it stops lagging

I've had the same problem with the .10, .50 rebuy - 1k guaranteed on FT. I played it on 3 different days - it would speed up enough so I had a chance to rebuy...then hang...........LOL. I am using an older puter and only have dial-up available here - one FT rep told me the # of clients in a particular tourny will slow me down immensley. Sure enough...I tried a 2100 player tourny as opposed to the 3,000+ tourny and it was playable...but major lag - but not as bad. Then I played a 1500 player tourny...faster and very playable..but still lag. I'm going to have to stick with 1500 player and less tournies on FT. Here's a few tips that might help: Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. We're pleased we could help you troubleshoot your tournament lag issue. As a reminder, if you are still experiencing problems with this tournament, please try adjusting the following settings (forgive us if you've heard some of this before): * Login to your Full Tilt Poker account * From the [Options] menu, change the Animation setting to "Reduced" or "Off" to reduce the amount of resources required by Full Tilt Poker * Again from the [Options] menu, change the Sound setting to "Alerts Only" or "Off" * While you are sitting at a table or tournament, click the [Pro Chat] button in the main lobby; this area is not updated as frequently as the Table or Tournament listings, leaving more resources available for your gameplay. * Also while sitting at a tournament, try closing the tournament lobby; leave open only the table at which you are currently sitting. Also: * At the tournament table, click the blue button labeled [Options] * Under "Chat Filter", turn off the checkmark next to "Observer Chat". Additionally, you may also elect to remove the checkmarks next to "Player Chat" and "Show Tips" as well. * If the issue persists, try setting the Dealer Messages to "Silent". * Press [OK] when you're done Finally, try reducing the number of tables that you are playing; close all other tables or tournaments which you may be observing while playing in a large volume tournament. If there's anything else you need, please feel free to contact us. We're always here to help. Regards, Brian Technical Representative Full Tilt Poker Support

I have high speed internet and my computer is way above what fulltilt has advertised as being recommended system requirements and I get extremely frustrated with the lag in the dimer. I am guessing that their server hubs that connect to a given area are the problem. I have contacted them many times and always get the same old, your end is having problems, even after they check my traceroute and say that nothing is wrong. I found one day that by closing the table that gives me the lag and opening other tables in the same tourney that the lag will go away. I was wondering if the fact that so many people are using poker tracker and programs like that which put a double strain on the network could be causing the problem. Fulltilt says no to that but I ask you why would it be only certain tables? Sorry for my rant. I hope they fix these problems soon too.

re: .10 Tourney Full Tilt Problem poker Yeah FT lags too many times. Especially on those large-scale-events. I don't mind it as much on the FR's, but they make a pain in the ass on RM-tourneys. That's why I don't invest money anymore in FT, just PartPoker. That's my game; Rarly any problems!

Full Tilt .10 Tourney I have no problems with that tournament, he already played several times and could do so without problems. But, sometimes had difficulties the entry upon the time the tournament starts due to normal congestion of all players who saw the same mensaguem I saw type: daki 3 minutes tourney begins .10
