I'd compare the 10 cent tourney on Stars to any low paying freeroll game. Everyone goes nuts in the first 15 min, bet anything, call anything and catch with crap. I understand frustration, I've felt it myself, but the truth is - you have no choice but accept it, 'cause it will never change . Try to enter the game with a different mindset - do not focus as much on loosing your last bankroll, rather play with more gut feeling and have fun

10c SnG tournys are not worth it to me. If you want people who take the game a little more seriously your gonna have to wait up for the 2 dollar tables atleast. If you dont have a bankroll for this, play some 5/10 cent tables, I found its a good way to rack up some loyalty points, and if you play it tight, its a great way to build on a small bankroll.

I've played it occasionaly when I was in dire straights and almost always made the final table. A few weeks ago I played it for fun and placed 2nd. Just play super tight and get your chips in post flop when you are pretty certain you have the best hand.

I tried it a couple of times but I do not care for PokerStars anymore. I would have trips and my opponet would have a Full House about every hand is a little fishy to me rather its a small buyin or not. GL to you though!

re: 10 cent sng on pokerstars poker If talk about the 10c/360 people, the last time i play this games was not hard to cash. I think cash in 4 of 6 games, from 30 to 50c each time, the last one get 1.50, for 10c is good for start a BR. After the first hour of play, you are already in the money, and only about 30-40 players left, so, is not too long for a MTT. You need to play like any freeroll, very tight in the first minutes and just let pass the all ins confrontations, after the first 10 or 15 min can start to play but only premium hands, and if you play correctly after the first hour your are in the money, and then start the all-in fights again because the blinds are too high, but in this time is only push or fold and not much to lose because you are in the money know. If you only have a couple $ left this is good game, and also if you are having bad days in higher limits this can relax, but have to be present that is like a freeroll type of game.

Dude i love that tourney. I've placed 2nd, 13th, and 4th, in the past three days. Just play super tight for the first three blind levels. Then slowly loosen up and get very aggressive with your chips. The people who catch all those lucky draws suddenly get unlucky ( go figure) It becomes a luck fest at the end because the blinds are so high but its fun. Great practice for MTT's and cheap too.

I found that they are very simple to succeed in. Don't play anything but ultra premium hands early in them. I know sometimes you will get kings get it all in preflop againest A 2 and loose but usually not. It's just like a freeroll so don't try to make any advance plays and just play tight.
