This blog is over two years old now, which feels almost surreal. I mean, I realize that it’s been awhile - two years? The ironic thing is that I apparently celebrated the two year anniversary by - for the first time, as far as I can tell - going a full week without blogging. And why?

I dunno. I didn’t get around to it. Not even my honeymoon was able to stop me from blogging, but something about this past week did the trick. Probably - definitely, actually - a combination of being busy, of having a lot of social-life-stuff going on and being very tired in between, as a result of the two first reasons.

I haven’t played much poker, but I’ve had a “you’ve gotta be kidding me”-type downswing in the few hands that I’ve played. Honestly, I don’t think I could have gone on a downswing like this if I had tried to lose. In the larger scheme of things, it doesn’t matter, but it’s still unfortunate since it makes my final weeks of collecting FPPs at PokerStars much more frustrating. I feel like a Leatherass in miniature. Very miniature. He collects in a day as many points as I have to collect in all of december, I believe. Still, I can feel his pain.
