In an attempt to bring a little balance to the blog section here at CardsChat Nick has tapped me to be the Yin to XD and FPaulson’s Yang. Well, that may not be the entire reason, as I do know just a little about poker (emphasis on the word little).

In contrast to the other two Cardschat blggers, I am going to hopefully go in a bit different direction with mine for a few reasons. For one, I am mainly a live player, so most of my blogs will have to do with situations or hands that I played live, in a cardrooom. Another reason is that I don’t want the three blogs to become redundant, so I will be doing things in mine a little differently in order to keep this from happening. My blog will be a little more like my opinions and take on the happenings in the poker world, information about all of the established pros and news they’re making, bio’s on them and some of the poker worlds rising stars, and any other poker related stories I may find interesting or blogworthy. Mix that in with a little of my own poker experiences and hand analysis, some off-topic discussion every now and then, and the occasional strategy article and you’ll have an idea of where I hope to take this blog o’ mine.

I hope that anyone reading this will find it and future installments interesting, informative, and entertaining. If you do enjoy it, feel free to contact me via PM at CardsChat.com with requests or ideas for future blog topics and I will do my best to accomodate. If you don’t, feel free to never read it again because, well, its FREE and you obviously don’t recognize talent when you see it. Additionally, your friends probably talk bad about you behind your back, your significant other is involved in an affair with someone more like me, your dog is at home right now pissing in your favorite shoes, your job is about to be cut by upper management due to “downsizing”, you probably aren’t a winning poker player, and God doesn’t like you very much.
