Contracts Signed!
Just a quick note to let you know that Lori and I signed for the house on Thursday morning. We spent Friday going through the paint, wallpaper, kitchen cabinets and floor tiles that we wanted, but now we’re mostly set. We need to have a few more meetings with the bank to straighten out the practical stuff, but nothing major. Exciting! As I may have mentioned before, it’s a whooping five months left until we can move in, but hopefully that should pass by quickly. We actually went by the construction site yesterday, and noticed that our roof had arrived. No house for it to sit on yet though, but hey! It’s a start! Exciiitiiing!
Today, in a spur of the moment, I decided to take up an old hobby: Bridge. I haven’t played for many years and I can’t really remember how it was supposed to be played, but I invited two of my old bridge buddies and we’ll see if we can remember anything at all, collectively. Should be fun.
No poker related news to share today, as I haven’t played much at all lately, with the house business having to be taken care of and all. I’ve been doing well these past few weeks though, the few hours that I’ve had a chance to play, for what that’s worth.

And gad - I haven’t had a chance to watch the latest South Park yet, because they don’t air them here until sometime next year. There are ways to work around that though, let’s see if I can dig it up and find out what you’re referring to.
