Commenting Made Easier
At last we’ve managed to overcome the problem of the CardsChat forum user database being separate from the CardsChat blog user database, and if you’re a forum member you now no longer need to log in separately in order to comment on a blog post.
This was great news for me.
… Up until the point where I noticed that it meant I was no longer able to actually blog anymore. I’m currently writing this offline, and I’m not entirely sure when it’ll get posted, but Nick is on the case and it should get sorted shortly. Of course, by the time you read this, it WILL have been sorted.
It’s Wednesday morning, and we’ve spent all morning at the hotel, slacking off with our books (I’m currently reading “Team of Rivals - the Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, and Lori just finished “The God Delusion” by Richard Dawkins), but also reading up on Rome and reading up on some of the buildings we’ve already visited. It may seem like a weird order to do things in, but the truth is that - at least with the Vatican - we got such a sensory overload that it wasn’t until we had time to sleep on int that we were ready to read up on more detail.
More about the Vatican - and the Coliseum! - in later posts.
It’s currently raining, and so we’re in no hurry to leave the dry, warm hotel room. At some point, hunger is going to force us out, but we’re not quite there yet. Now if you’ll excuse me, Abe was just elected and is currently putting together his cabinet, and I’m interested in knowing how that works out.
