Moving funds around
With Titan’s decision not to allow US players to make any money transfers, I decided to withdraw most of my funds there. Cardschat’s events will be held elsewhere as soon as Nick finds a site we all agree upon which has good enough representatives to make sure our events and such go through smoothly; I plan to deposit a large portion, if not my whole bankroll at that site. Until Nick makes his decision, I’m going to make a deposit at maybe Stars or FullTilt and play there. I’m going to have to withdraw around $400 from my Neteller account to use to pay some dues which leaves me with a little more than $800 to deposit where I like. I also left $100 at Titan for buyins to CC events and for the odd overlayed MTT (the previously largely overlayed tourneys have started filling up more recently since people seem to have noticed it).
As for my progress, I’ve played 139 SnGs so far, and as my sample size grows, I’m not liking what I see (stats). I play very aggressive near the bubble and shorthanded, but Chris has actually pointed out that my stats suggest that I play to limp into the money (which is strange since I try to do exactly the opposite). I’m also a little concerned about how my range of types of SnGs has possibly skewed my results. My 139 games are all slightly different: 10-seaters, 6-seaters, turbo 6-seaters, with buyins ranging from $1 to $35. I think for the my next challenge, I’ll have a specific game to record; say $20 10-seaters for example. I can then try 200 turbos, and see how my stats match up, and I can maybe come to a conclusion as to which is more profitable for me. My bankroll total is roughly the same as what it was my last post - I think I’m up $20 or something; not great results but I’ll just have to keep at it.
I hope Nick finds a site sooner than later for us to continue our events at, and I suppose I’m just going to have to wait until then to play with you yanks again :p
