Alright, so October is here. After my rather devastating downswing, I’ve spent quite some time studying and trying to find my A-game again, plus experimenting a little bit. And the last week of September, I simply took off. So now I’m rested, and ready to get going again. And here’s what I’m planning to do:

I have close to 100k VPPs sitting at Stars, which affords me a $1500 cash bonus if I manage to get Platinum Star (I didn’t play at Stars in September, so I’m starting from “scratch” sort of), or two $650 bonuses if I make Gold Star. I don’t know how much time I’ll have to play this month, but since I’ve moved down quite a bit in levels after losing more than two thirds of my bankroll, it’s going to require almost 20k hands at $2/$4 6-max to clear Platinum this month. I’m not sure I can manage that, but we’ll see where I end up.

And this my job this month. Play at $2/$4, rebuild my bankroll, and attempt to clear those bonuses once I reach the 100k mark. I’ll keep you posted on my progress as I go; wish me luck.
