Commencing Re-focus
This is a continuation of this post; my attempt to re-focus my poker playing - me figuring out what it is I want out of it. I’ve now come up with a purpose.
I want to be as good as possible. I want to learn as much as possible. That’s the challenge in it for me now, and is what I’ll be focusing on for the foreseeable future. This means that I will no longer grind hands to make a profit, and also means that I’ll be spending a lot more time playing 1-2 tables and thinking more than playing 3-4 tables and (short term) earning more. And I will especially spend more time analyzing my own play.
I’m really excited about this, and I’m looking forward to studying poker more seriously again. Too much play makes Freddie a dull boy.
